Stay in this beautiful country home!

Spend time in the country! Watch the sun rise on the screened in back porch, and sunset on the large covered front porch. Spacious house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large open den, farmhouse type kitchen which contains gas Jenn-Air stove/oven combination. Laundry room with washer and dryer available. Large deck accessible from back porch with hot tub for relaxing. Each bedroom contains a smart TV. Wi-fi available. We have even added a pack and play and a portable swing for your little ones, if needed. There is a Tree house in back yard for lots of fun playtime! Property is close to Lake Tyler, where fishing and boating abounds and convenient to in-town shopping.

Very comfortable stay!

We chose this house for a laid back girls weekend and it was absolutely perfect. There were plenty of (comfortable) beds for all of us, and enough seating in both the living room and at the dining table. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and tools, and the hot tub was a wonderful perk. We especially appreciated that the laundry room was available as it allowed us to wash and dry the hot tub towels so we could use them again. The host was very responsive and helpful with questions. There is a grocery store about 6 minutes away, in Whitehouse, along with a Starbucks, a few restaurants, and some general goods stores.

country home

This house was nice enough, but not as clean as we had hoped. The living area was comfortable and the dining table was nice for playing games. The road was busy, which made it hard to turn into the driveway, since the traffic was moving at about 55mph. The front porch was nice.

Weekend trip

It was a very nice stay, we didn't spend too much time in the house but we enjoyed any time we were there. Very lovely home with a lot of character.

Great stay

Family visit

Enjoyed this home thoroughly. House had everything we needed and more plus a clean spa, lots of space, and everything we needed was provided. Extra bonus was having Lake Tyler around the corner.

A really great week-end!

This is a really great place to stay. It is large enough to comfortably accommodate several people and although everything is not brand new it is very nice. The home is clean and well maintained. The area is peppered with other homes that are on large tracts of land. Lots of trees and Whitehouse/Tyler is nearby and the owners are friendly and accessible.

Country home was cozy

Great for family gathering. Not too far from our lakeside reunion and needed to house overflow guests. The Living Room recliner-style furniture was comfortable for our fellowship and dining table was good size for family games. AC was strong and a refreshing retreat from the Texas heat.

Powerful Shower

Upon arrival the inside temperature was 82 degrees. The hostess came immediately to attend to the situation. The a/c had frozen. We turned the a/c off to allow it to defrost. Hostess requested after 2 hours to turn it back on. We were out late so the hostess came and started the a/c. When we arrived the temperature was a very nice and cool 72. The shower is to die for! The water pressure was amazing! Overall I will book again as it was a definite 5 stars for our party! She even refunded our first night since the house was so hot. I will definitely stay there again. Definitely a 5 star experience!

Happy Camper!

This property was exactly how it was described. We got our check in information early and it was very simple. There was no need to communicate with the property manager as everything was smooth. My dogs loved the spacious house. My only complaint was that I couldn’t find the check out rules anywhere. Some hosts ask for specific things to be done at checkout and I try to make sure they get done, but I couldn’t find anything stating what needed to be done, so we simply stripped the bedding and took out the trash. I hope that was okay. We will definitely stay here again when visiting friends. Thank you for the ease and comfort of this beautiful home.

Nice house 6 men

AC did not work. Wet hallway carpet. Water standing on back patio. Rickety dining chairs. All older men in our group. Fishing at nearby lakes. Overall it was a nice place good location. Hot tub was great. Very clean. Nice amenities.

Perfect country getaway

Amy has made her childhood home into the perfect cozy getaway. The house was clean, smelled amazing, and beds were so comfy! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The BBQ place right next door was both convenient and delicious!

Eclipse trip 2024

The property is beautifully located within a short drive to Tyler. Spacious living dining and kitchen areas, with several outdoor areas too. Nice yard enclosed on three sides, great for children to play. Walking distance to a highly rated BBQ place. Will definitely book again next time! Thanks!!

Road Trip Getaway

We enjoyed our time at the house! Plenty of room for our family, & the hot tub was a big hit. We also had fun cooking out on the grill in the evening, & we made sure & picked up lunch from the barbecue spot next door. Terrific communication from the host as well. Highly recommend!

Great short stay in Tyler

My husband and I had a great stay! Bed was comfy, house had so much room and everything we needed was at the house. I loved the huge front porch and screened back porch. Can't wait to come back! Thanks!

Back again.

This is the third time my family and I stay in this home. We enjoy the country feel and how spacious the home is. My five year-old enjoys the backyard and my elderly father enjoys walking the property line to see the horses and longhorns next door. My mom has to eat the bbq from Cooksy’s each time which is conveniently a few steps from the house. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Felt like home

The house was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the water pressure, or lack of. It was a little more than a trickle out of the shower heads as well as the kitchen sink.

A place close to family

Upon arrival , front door in the end was unlocked , however we could not get in because front door sticks very badly , luckily the back door was completely left open !!! It's a old house and some things are understandable, I don't want to be completely negative , however walking into the completely open back door we were overwhelmed with the extremely strong Oder from over a dozen plug in air fresheners !!!! We pulled them all out and placed outside . Then after unpacking we discovered unfinished laundry in washer and dryer , were not sure if it even belonged at that home . Then the carpet ..... VRBOs need to either replace all carpet or at least clean it from time to time , looks like a frat party had taken place there . In the end my wife could not stay there due to strong Oder , my grand sons tried to play in outdoor play house , and I had to get them out of it when it started to sway and looked like it would fall over . We needed a place on short notice , it worked because we needed to take our dogs . We will however not stay here again .

A Peaceful Retreat

This place was so perfect for us. My wife and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary here. The house had an amazing vintage charm. Great updated kitchen. Super comfortable living room furniture. Master bed was great and the recliners in the room are perfect for Bible reading and prayer together. Back patio is too cute with a great hot tub set up. Shelly was an awesome host / communicator. Let me know in advance hot tub wasn’t heating right and a repairman had been called out. When he failed to make in in time they discounted the price for the inconvenience. Then a piece of porch furniture broke and when I tried to make it right she graciously said not to worry about it. So much kindness. So much peace. Have already recommended this house to 3 groups for different things. Just cannot emphasis the peace on this place. May God continue to bless this property, the owner, and the managers.

Just far enough from town!
