Stunning Modern Home in Sunny Location Close to Beach Access

This home has been recently remodeled and furnished by an interior designer and features 16' sliding doors opening to front and covered back decks for truly indoor/outdoor living and is a serene, relaxing home with a leaning to Asian aesthetics. The primary bedroom, with queen bed, opens to the back deck and the master bath features a large shower with two shower heads. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and the guest bath has a tub/shower combo. Not suitable for handicap access due to steep interior stairs. Maximum stay: 4 nights. No children under the age of 5 years. No pets including service animals due to severe allergies. Exterior camera at entrance. Central heating and a fireplace keeps guests warm in cooler months. Sit on the front deck in the morning sun, enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the birds in the redwoods!

Owner, at times, stays in separate downstairs unit that has its own entrance. You will not even know they are there unless there is something you need! Maximum privacy for guests in main house!

Located at end of county road with no access to private community beach. However, many beaches near by including Sunset. Guerneville, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, and Santa Rosa are located near by.

Great stay

We had a great stay! We have family across the street so we’re in and out of the house all day and the location made it perfect. We’ve been going to SHP for 25 years and love it so much, we are thankful to have a wonderful place to stay close to our family!

Peaceful getaway

Tranquil Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this Modern Home nestled in the woods. The tranquility of the surroundings was just what we needed to unwind. Relaxing time in Sonoma Valley

My husband and I had a great stay in Forrestville. The house was beautiful and clean with all the expected accoutrements. I hiked the area multiple times during our stay and the neighborhood is restful, green, and hilly. The host was responsive and helpful.

Tranquil getaway in Forestville

Our family had a perfect stay in this modern, clean home set in a vacation neighborhood in Forestville. The open space and comfortable furnishings, along with attention to detail everywhere, was so appreciated. The host was communicative and helpful throughout our stay, and provided extras like beach towels and coffee. We enjoyed the peaceful outdoor spaces and the updated bathrooms. An added plus is that the home is easy access to many area attractions, including Russian River beaches, Sonoma vineyards, and great hiking. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Stay!

This home is a gem. It felt like we were in a giant tree house with lux amenities. The location was so private, yet so close to all the amazing Russian River things to do. We tasted wine at several wineries, we paddle boarded down the russian river, enjoyed downtown Guerneville and Forestville. The host was easily accessible and we highly recommend!

Wine Country Getaway

Basha was a great hostess for the weekend, and had everything we needed, including coffee fixings. The rooms were comfortable, and the home was in a great location for wineries and area restaurants. Highly recommended!

Terrific hideaway, quiet and peaceful

Loved your Zen Retreat! We will come back in the summer time to open the full length glass doors on either side of the living space. I'll bet it is just delightful to be in the cool redwoods at that time of year.

Wonderful gateway on the Russian River

The property is just great in all aspects and even better than the pics on the Vrbo site! The back deck was a real surprise! And the host very friendly and helpful!

Special House by the River

Basha is a great host, and her house in the middle of the woods is so quiet and beautiful. It is close to great wineries, and to mother's beach, which is great in a warm afternoon. We are sure we will come back someday.

Beautiful & Comfortable house

I wish we hadn't been so busy with family so that I could have enjoyed sitting out on the incredible deck more. The house is clean and has every comfort of home, including a well stocked kitchen. The decor and furniture is beautiful and inviting. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent hideaway

Beautiful open space home - with integrated balcony and shaded patio. Well appointed kitchen. Perfect for quiet reflection and getting some work done. Check in and out very easy. Look forward to coming back.

Absolutely AMAZING. This home was full of beautiful spaces to just relax and enjoy the beauty both inside and outside the home. Location was perfect for exploring nature, wineries, restaurants and a beautiful drive the the ocean. What a GEM !!

Very nice place

The house was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay. It is a very peaceful and beautiful house. I would caution people who have not lived of visited these types of communities to be prepared for a challenging drive in and out of the community. Be courteous to other drivers and always be prepared to yield to on-coming traffic at a moments notice. We did not have a chance to enjoy to clubhouse, which was just a couple houses down from this location, nor the beach or river, but it all looks spectaular and inviting.

Beautiful place in an enchanting forest

We loved how special the area was. The house was much bigger than we expected with lots of outdoor space to hang out. My only comments are the second bedroom and two twin beds which were very uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep well. The outdoor grill was awesome, would have loved if the fire pit worked!

Beautiful, artsy refuge. Responsive host.

The house is beautifully done. A few of the stand-outs: Huge sliding doors on both sides of the house give a lovely relationship between indoors and out, even in the pouring rain. Incredible spacious shower in the master. Artful decorations. The kitchen was better appointed than our own home! Basha was very quick to respond throughout the stay. Very impressed!

Harvest party

House was very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. The initial listing didn’t mention no TV in main living. Not a problem, but if your avid sport fans would be nice to know before hand. Also, the requirement of no shoes in house.
