we enjoyed the cottage it was easy to get into the city and also farther up the sea to sky highway for exploring. The view is absolutely stunning.

Great location away from the bustle. The water and Mountain View’s were gorgeous. Had a seal visit every day down by the rocks in the water. Ate outside on top floor patio one night. Used the big dining table to play a card game a couple nights. Easy access from house to Vancouver proper. The funicular was perfect for getting luggage and groceries down and up from parking to the house level. The six of us had a great stay!

Great family getaway

Lovely hidden location right on the water. Great outdoor space and well equipped kitchen. Very quiet & peaceful.

Fantastic views out over the sound. We saw seals and an otter. Great sunsets. Kitchen is well stocked. Host was helpful and provided information. Note the road to the house is narrow, and if you have larger vehicle it takes a bit of work to park and turn around.

Super easy check in and check out. View is insanely better in person.And the cabin itself is very cozy and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy home near Horseshoe Bay! The location was serene and perfectly nestled for exploring the beauty of the area. One of the highlights? Our daily visits from a few curious seals who popped by like clockwork—such a magical, unexpected treat! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and soak in some nature (with a side of adorable marine life).

Absolutely amazing! Close to everything and super quiet. View was spectacular and it was accessible by a funicular. Two seals stopped by daily and the sunsets were beautiful. The host respects privacy, as we didn’t see him at all. It’s great if you are travelling with teens, as they had their own space upstairs with a washroom and shower! Incredible outdoor space. Would love to come back!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

Retreat in the northwest

My family booked a week's stay here. We wanted a home base to explore the area and have some quality family time. The rental was beautiful. We had ages from elementary school to senior adults and it was perfect for all of us. We really like being able to wash clothes while traveling and prepare our own healthy meals. This property had both amenities. Our kids LOVED the hillevator. I am not sure if that was their favorite part or the whales that swam by 3 of the evenings. Overall, it was a great stay. The only tip I would suggest is to plan on smaller kids in the pullout couch bed, as it wasn't really that comfortable for my larger teen. I don't think it would be great for adults either. When we switched and put the elementary child to sleep there, he slept well. We would love to stay here again for future travels.

Excellent property! This was a fantastic trip with friends and we spent so much more time that we thought we would at the place! It was just so gorgeous and a perfect size for the seven of us to comfortably hang out together. Their neighbors are extremely sensitive to noise, we did get a text due to noise after greeting our last friend outside after 10pm to wave them down to the place since it was dark. The host was extremely nice and understanding and we made an effort to be extremely quiet when outside the rest of our stay and didn’t get another text. I would love to be back at this place! Thank you for having us!!

The property sits right on Howe Sound and the view is amazing. Sea lions and other mammals were constantly present while we were there. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware and the beds comfy. One thing to note -there are no outlets that we could find in the upstairs bathroom, but there is one in the downstairs bathroom. The property is a tad bit older than the photos depict, but the stay was great and the hosts fantastic.
