One of the best managed properties we have stayed at. Beautiful waterfront property with beach a dock. Thoughtfully outfitted and great communication with the host.

Great property on a beautiful lake. Loved the great room where we gathered 12 adults aged 21-50. Nice kitchen space and a table we could all sit at for meals! Outside was perfect with a walk in beach and dock for our rented pontoon. Very clean and great communication. 10/10

"Good times at the Dragonfly Cottage"

Our family vacation at the Dragonfly Cottage on Intermediate Lake was a great time for our whole family. The owners have thought of everything that makes for an extra special week of fun and good memories!

Beautiful lake surrounded by rolling hills

This is a beautiful part of Michigan. The lake is lovely, perfect for just sitting or paddling. The home is as described and feels like a family cabin shared through the generations. Thoughtful touches by the host including a dog bed, bowls and toys and a welcome basket for the humans.

Amazing cottage

All was just as advertised. Plenty of room and beds for 8 adults as we joined for a family getaway. Lots of towels, fully stocked kitchen, games and outdoor activities. Steps away from the lake. <15 minutes to Bellaire. We had an incredible time!

Great stay at The Dragonfly

Perfect Up North Michigan lakefront house. Everything is thoughtfully done (dog stuff- bowls, toys and a tie out/ human stuff- coffee bar, books and hammocks, a great view) it’s a beautiful, comfortable place. All communication with Amanda was easy, timely and helpful (she helped recommend a boat rental, and eased nerves about payment). It was a fantastic experience, and look forward to booking again.

The cottage was very comfortable and could accommodate our 5 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs very comfortably Things were as described and plenty of info was provided to facilitate our stay. Thanks!

Family vaca at the lake

We had an amazing time!! The cabin and lake were awesome and exactly how it is presented. Amanda has not let any detail go unnoticed. The kids so enjoyed the lake with the paddle boat, canoe and kayaks that were provided. They spent hours on the lake enjoying. The provided hammocks were so relaxing. It was an awesome vacatiion for my family!!!

Comfortable

Our family of seven adults, an 18 month old and two dogs had a nice time at the Dragonfly. The table in the dining area is wonderful- large enough for all of us to sit for a meal, play games, or do crafts. The lake is great- shallow for a distance so that our grandson and the dogs could jump around and touch bottom the whole time! Ample supply of outdoor games, sand toys, kayaks, canoe. Cooling system worked well for those too humid days. Communication with owner was outstanding! We had a great time at the Dragonfly!

Great house on a great lake

We recently stayed at the Dragonfly for a weeklong family vacation. Our group consisted of seven adults and children ages 4, 3, 2 and 1. The Dragonfly accommodated our family beautifully! There was plenty of room in each bedrooms and had everything you needed for storage and comfort. The mattresses were very comfortable. The gathering space worked great for our family too. There was plenty of room on the sectional and lots of room for the kids to play. We loved all the windows that face the lake to determine whether it was a good time for a kayak or paddleboard trip. We didn’t use the loft very much because the kiddos were small, but it would be a great place for preteens or teens to hang out. The kitchen provided everything we needed! Unlike many rentals, that don’t provide much in the way of cleaning products, this rental included everything we needed to keep the kitchen spotless. In addition, they provided a great coffee bar and a s’mores basket for us to enjoy. The set up outside worked great for our family. The beach runs the entire length of the property so the kids had a ton of fun playing in the sand. The dock was also great for fishing off. They provide a ton of outdoor sand toys and games for all ages. We used both the grill and fire pit and both worked terrific! I can’t say enough about the owners communication. Amanda replied immediately to any question or concern that we had. It was obvious to us that they want to provide a great stay for their guests!
