Welcome to Kahana Reef 408! This recently remodeled penthouse is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condominium featuring ceiling fans and unobstructed ocean views from the fourth floor. Please note that this unit does not have air conditioning or a traditional oven; however, the kitchen includes an energy-efficient induction stovetop and other essentials for preparing meals. Elevators are available for easy access, and the unit can accommodate up to four guests.

The bedroom features a king-size bed and is one of the largest bedrooms in the resort. The nearby bathroom includes a walk-in shower and single-sink vanity. In the living room, a queen-size sofa bed provides additional sleeping space, while large windows showcase stunning ocean views and fill the room with natural light.

Enjoy meals at the dining table or step out onto the private lanai for outdoor dining, morning coffee, and beautiful Pacific sunsets. While there is no air conditioning, pleasant trade winds and ceiling fans help keep the condo comfortable on breezy days. Open the front and lanai doors to welcome the ocean breeze and enjoy the true island living experience.

Kahana Reef is an oceanfront condominium situated between Kaanapali and Kapalua resort areas. Which puts you close to Maui's top beaches, dining, shopping and other attractions. Kahana Reef resort offers an oceanfront pool, BBQ area, and an on-site coin-operated laundry facility. There are no resort or parking fees.

Quiet and great views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay here. It was a perfect jumping off point for adventures all around the island. Easy access to amenities and just far enough away from the resorts to feel like you had some privacy. Plus we could whale watch right from the balcony!

Perfect location!

This is a nicely updated unit with a great pool and conveniently located near stores and easy highway access. The sunset views are incredible here. Best of all, the long term residents are friendly and welcoming.

Interaction with management company was rough and they took 24hrs to respond to simple questions. The only thing I'd change. Place was amazing with an amazing view

Paradise in Kahana

This was one of those [laces where you walk in and pinch yourself. The view does not get any better for a sunset on the lanai. So many turtles to watch eat off the reef, and a great spot to enter the water for spear fishing.

Amazing property

This property was perfect. The location is in the middle of everything. It’s only about a 15 minute drive, at the most, to get to amazing beaches, shopping, snorkeling, and restaurants. The view from the lanai is amazing, we even saw turtles and dolphins from our balcony. The condo had everything we needed and the property managers were quick to respond to our requests. I would definitely recommend this place!

What you see is what you get

We had an amazing vacation. Online listing is 100% accurate with description of unit as well as views. Make sure to bring binoculars to see all the amazing sea life. Thanks for helping my family make wonderful memories. Mahalo!!!

This was our second time staying at Kahana Reef and we love the complex. It is quiet, neighbors are friendly, accessible to just about everywhere you want to go in West Maui, and the views of the ocean are incredible. There is a convenient laundromat open during the day.This unit was modern and clean. It felt like a newer hotel. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed. It doesn’t have an oven but we did not need one. Bathroom shower felt luxurious. Bedroom was spacious with a huge king bed. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. Communication with My Perfect Stay was great. We felt we got a great value and would gladly stay here again.

Spectacular ocean view and comfortable condo

We have been to the Kahana / Lahaina area of Maui several times, and this condo was by far the most comfortable that we have enjoyed. The view from the 4th floor was spectacular. We saw dozens of whales while sitting on the lanai, and enjoyed the windsurfers and surfers in action. The kitchen, living space and bedroom were all very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The My Perfect Stays support team took very good care of us and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely try to stay in this unit again when we return to Maui.

Fourth floor with Incredible views

This unit is on the top floor and has great elevator access. The building is block construction, so there's no noise through the walls. This is on a seawall area of the island with beaches in easy driving distance. This unit has a slightly softer (rather than firm) king bed, upgraded kitchen, large bathroom with full-sized shower, and private lanai with comfortable seating for three and 180 ocean views. The complex is very quiet at night and located about 10 minutes north of the big hotels in Kaanapali. It was the perfect size for two of us and it could easily accommodate two adults and two kids. We loved the sound of the ocean right outside our lanai at night and the views of whales and waves during the day.

We have traveled with VRBO numerous times for the last 13 years and never had any issues until now. First off the refrigerater didn’t have an ice maker so we had to buy ice. It’s to the tune of 3.75 a bag ice melts really fast in Hawaii.We had a top stove an no oven. They have a cheap small toaster oven type thing that was almost useless.In the bathroom, there was no place to hang the toilet paper and bath towels. Except for there was a hook in the hallway for the bath towels so if you forget it. You’re gonna get the floors wet trying to get it. There were two of us and we stayed two weeks they gave us two bath towels I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to use my bath towel for two weeks two hand towels, and two white washcloths. There were black ones for make up stuff.So other than this place was peacefully decorated the screen door needs to be replaced. It’s loose and somebody broke the handle so good luck figuring that out.However, we love the property and have stayed here before, but we would not rent this unit again.

Beautiful view

Everything was wonderful except for being told that we would have to vacate less than 24hrs from the condo due to construction work, Between the hours of 9am-3pm. Note, the contract that we signed did not state anything about having to vacate the residence. When we called the property manager the person that we spoke to was unprofessional and rude. After a long frustrating conversation and a request to speak with a manager, we were offered a $50 refund. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property if you don’t mind the construction starting at 8am in the morning M-F.

Beautiful views morning, noon and night from your balcony. Great place to sip your coffee and relax to start your day or have a glass of wine and watch the sunset is your day end. Quiet community. Lovely pool! Great spot to tour the island.

Waves waves waves!

If you want to drown in the sounds of ocean waves, Kahana Reef will be a perfect destination! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Mahalo!

Very mediocre rental but great view - look at other units in the

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is very mediocre. The furniture is run down and stained. The bathroom is very small but the bedroom is nice and spacious. The best part of the rental was the ocean views but I would not recommend this rental. Our friends rented another unit in the propyand it was WAY better.

Don't be fooled by the outside when you first pull up, because once you enter the apartment you enter paradise. It has everything you need soft pillows and soft comfortable bed. The most amazing view. My husband loved the cute so much he made us sleep on the pullout couch bed instead of the room just so when we open our eyes we can see that beautiful ocean. Grocery store is 3 miles away. McDonald's around the corner. Plus a cute little gift shop in that shopping center. We want to come back once a year. Stayed in the apartment the whole time. You can hear people talk when they are at the pool but no one is to loud. It is a very peaceful welcoming place. It's worth every cent. Pots,pans, stove (no oven), microwave, high quality silverware. The apartment is beautifully designed. Merging that old school Hawaiian look with a modern feel. That was important to me because I didn't really like the old Hawaiian wicker look, but this place made it looks so nice. Even the couch was amazingly comfortable. The directions they provided were simple and easy. We bought too much stuff so we left waters and sodas for the next guests to enjoy. And believe me, you will enjoy it!

Very nice location and view. Maui Bus (Bus stop very close) can get you anywhere up and down West Maui from Lahaina to Kapalua. No need to rent a car!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very good experience overall. Laundry onsite, that you can pay with your phone. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Great ocean view. The only "issue" was the maintenance of the unit. I wouldn't really call them problems even, but just a bunch of small things. There were several knobs in the kitchen that would come off, and some of the doors were loose. The microwave and coffee maker have seen better days.
