We had a fantastic stay at their cabin!! A very peaceful and a relaxing week. They have everything could possibly want for your stay and then some. There was huge porch off the patio door for some great relaxing time. The inside is very modern and beyond clean. We did quite a bit fishing for bluegills and they were everywhere with many 6-8 inchers. The hosts were great if you had any questions. We hope to get back there next year!!!

What a lovely getaway! Opening the door, you just dont know what to expect, and we loved it! Clean, welcoming, the coffee area was fun! We had plenty of fish, too. Definitely would stay again.

The property location was perfect. Having the option to rent a boat right there couldn’t have been better. My boys loved the lake as did my wife and I. Chris and Amie were fantastic hosts and we couldn’t recommend it more.

Beautiful log cabin property with a functional modern kitchen. The host gave us very clear instructions for check-in and enjoying the cabin’s features. We were four adults and we had a lovely stay.

Nothing beats a real log cabin! Our stay was excellent. The loft was perfect for a fun family sleeping arrangement. Nice coffee bar by the door. Breakfast on the deck. And access to the Lake.Clean and hospitable! No complaints ....

Turtle Fest Week

Very happy with your house. Felt nicer than home even. Lots of fish in lagoon. Didnt even need the canoe.

Everything was excellent. Beautiful cabin. A great place for our family of 5 to relax and spend time together. Marion Lake is beautiful with very good fishing. Owners are top notch. Definitely a place we would look forward coming back to.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Marion Lake cabin! What a charming and welcoming space with all the amenities! Our hosts were beyond accommodating and helpful…in constant communication! We enjoyed the lake via the provided canoe and available pontoon. The property was beautiful and the cabin was spotless! !The trip exceeded our expectations!

Cabin on Marion LakeAll we can say is, wow!My wife and I booked this cabin from Wednesday through Sunday to spend quality time with our 13-year-old granddaughter and 10-year-old grandson. I can honestly say the photos don't do this property justice. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! It's the perfect size for couples or families, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything you need for an unforgettable getaway.The lake is a phenomenal fishery. We spent several mornings catching fish nonstop. The crappies and bluegills are huge—I haven't experienced panfishing like this in over 40 years. We were catching large bluegills in 17 feet of water, with the fish suspended just 4 to 5 feet below the surface. It was incredible.The lake was also perfect for tubing with the kids. Even on Saturday, boat traffic was light, so we never felt crowded. There are also a couple of sandbar areas with shallow water where you can anchor your boat and spend the day swimming and playing.Chris and Amie were fantastic hosts. Their communication was excellent, and they were extremely helpful both before and during our stay.My wife and I highly recommend this cabin getaway. We made some amazing family memories that we'll cherish for years to come, and we can't wait to come back!

An Ottertail County Oasis

I always say Ottertail County is magical and good for the soul, and this hidden Oasis simply confirms that. It sits on a quiet, wooded property, surrounded by the sounds of nature. The log cabin is beautiful, and it leaves you wanting for nothing. The owners have thought of everything, and it has all the amenities you could possibly need, and they immediately responded the one time we did have a question. We made memories to last a lifetime, as we always do on this trip, and this cabin made them even more special. Thank you Chris and Amie for a beautiful weekend.

Relaxing!

My family of four and parents enjoyed a six day stay at the Lake Marion cabin. The cabin was comfy and had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the porch for coffee. It’s definitely more of a woodsy cabin than lake cabin but still enjoyable! Would be stunning in the fall. Our only wish that of course no one can control is that there had been less algae on the canal. It was covered which made it hard to fish off the dock, but we still managed to catch a few small ones. The kids enjoyed the stock of games and coloring too!

Excellent property for a family getaway

We just completed our vacation at this property and it was excellent! The cabin and property are in great condition, the location is private, and the hosts were very responsive to any questions that came up before and during our stay! The cabin was well equipped, had comfy beds and furniture, the kitchen had all of the pots and pans, bakeware, small appliance, griddle, etc that are needed to get through being away from home for a week. The cabin was very well taken care of, and the hosts have done a great job making it easy for renters to come in (light switches were labeled, nightstands with USB outlets and electrical outlets built in to make charging easy, etc). The lake was excellent for swimming and for fishing, and the pontoon was a great option that we took advantage of. I highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed! You can tell that the hosts enjoy their propery and they have thought out the rental process well! Thank you!

The perfect storm

Excellent privacy. We had bad storm hit the area the first of our stay and lost all power before 11 pm and were without power and water for 33 hours. I notified the owners in the morning of the situation and how we both need to use our cpap machines to breath. Chris and Amy then traveled 3 1/2 each way to bring us generator fuel and water and supplied us electricity to run an air conditioner our cpapmachines and refrigerator. It made a huge vdifference in our stay. We had lots of good memories with our kids and grandkids. Thanks to Chris and Amie
