The place was very nice and everything that we needed. The owner gave us all the information we needed via email a couple days ahead and we enjoyed our stay.

Well appointed and nicely renovated property in a convenient location in Hancock NY. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. Everything went smoothly from check -in to check-out! Highly recommend!

Very walkable to central Hancock. House was recently renovated and very clean, with all modern amenities. The large clawfoot bath was great for a relaxing soak after a day of walking around and hiking.

Beautiful property...loved the house. I loved that we were offered to use the fresh veggies/herbs. I will definitely stay here next time Im in Hancock

French woods visit

We visited our daughter who is a vocal coach at French woods. This was a perfect location and the house was perfect. Clean, owner was great at communicaiton and all around great visit.

The house is well equipped and has everything you need! It is spacious and clean. The internet worked well. I was very impressed.

EXCELLENT rental and host!

My family and I stayed here for two nights over Labor Day weekend, and it was the perfect experience. Deborah is an excellent host who goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and have all they need. The house is charming, and it was so lovely to walk around the neighborhood. I highly recommend this house if you want a place to stay in Hancock close to everything!

The home was lovely...spotless, spacious, warm and inviting.The location was perfect for our family reunion...within walking distance of the original homestead!The kitchen was outstanding! It was incredibly well designed with state of the art appliances...definately the heart of the home!The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms included a vintage clawfoot tub!The host was very accommodating, available to answer any questions quickly.Already looking forward to our next visit!

Cozy, clean and new

We enjoyed our stay in the recently renovated home. Everything was in perfect order, it was comfortable and well designed for our evenings after a long day in the field. Deborah was helpful at every step. We will definitely return next fall. Thank you.

Wedding weekend

This property was absolutely perfect for my adult family to enjoy during a weekend wedding celebration. We flew in from Orlando and Deborah had everything ready for us. She even went out of her way to be sure there was an iron and ironing board available. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fully stocked and well organized

We needed a quite place to sleep the nights while our large NYE party was organized in the town near by, and this house was perfect. The house is convenient to get to from center of town, and had a fully stocked kitchen for us to make coffee/breakfest in the mornings. The host, Deborah, was very responsive and gracious in allowing us to check in early. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you have activities in the area, and you need a clean modern place to stay.

The communication was great. Driving directions and details regarding access were very clear. The house was clean, comfortable, and had a great selection of teas and coffees.The house was within walking distance of restaurants, the grocery store, and the Walgreens. The price was right for such a large living space. I highly recommend this house if you’re visiting Hancock or the surrounding area.

Beautifully renovated and very clean home. It was the perfect location to attend visiting day and pick up our daughter from French Woods. Beds were comfortable and ac worked great. Appreciated the coffee supplies. Couch/futon in living room very uncomfortable, absolutely only negative. Everything else was great! Would definitely stay again!! Thank you!

The house looked brand new, very clean and modern. Convenient location, yet felt private. Beautiful natural light and windows. A very short easy drive to town, you could walk it and a 15 minute drive to French Woods.Perfect for a family also good for two couples. The deck and stars at night and view of the lake from one of the upper bedrooms was lovely. The neighbors were very sweet and friendly. We would stay again. Deborah was very quick and easy to communicate with too.

Debra was extremely helpful pre-trip and the house was as advertised. Great location, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, clean laundry facility, and other amenities. Thanks for being a great base camp for quick weekend get away.

Recently redone and very comfortable. Met up with two other buddies for a couple days of fishing and the location of this place is in the center of all the fishing action. The house has great, open social space with a very large living room with vaulted roof and a porch. Really great social space with three bedrooms that were all very comfy.
