Our Beach house offers a quiet getaway with great views, a fun hangout area downstairs, close to the pool area and beach access through community tunnel . We look forward to hosting you at your next getaway! We offer three bedrooms/three full bathrooms. Master with king, guest room with queen both have an In-suite bathroom. Bunk room with two twin-over-full bunk beds. Living room with two full reclining sofas, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area with bar that accommodates 10 people. TV’s (55”) in the master and living room. The most unique feature is the patio with full bar area with TV, fridge, over-size sink, ice maker, oscillating fans, smoker/grill, patio games, and more. We do also have a shower in the patio area. Sorry, but we have a NO pet and No smoking policy. Golf Cart available for a fee.

Labor Day get away!!!

My first time renting a Vrbo and the experience was excellent. The property was super clean and well stocked with everything you need for a weekend get away. The outside bar and kitchen was a great space to host friends. We also enjoyed the pool and the beach.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Property owner and his wife were extremely helpful and responsive. They were very generous with the check in and check out process relieving a lot normal stressors of traveling. The house was perfect for our two families to do a weekend getaway before school started. The house had a great set up and all the things you would need for cooking a good meal and provided a relaxed place to hang out in the evening. We had never been to Galveston and didn’t realize the size of the island, but honestly we were glad to not be in the heavy traffic down town. The drive to the pier was nice and the kids had a blast hanging out Saturday evening riding rides. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone in the future. The kids loved the bunk room, plenty of bathrooms and shower space for everyone and the beds were comfortable! The reclining couches were a huge hit and the convenience of the golf cart can’t be beat.

Rainy days can be wonderful family time at the Connor Lodge.

You will love your stay at the Connor Cottage. Although we picked a rainy weekend, we found the cool days to be especially enjoyable for a July, Galveston weekend. We had cool rides on the golf cart between downpours. And then the sun finally broke through the clouds so we could enjoy at couple of hours at the beach on the day before we checked out. The bedrooms were beautiful and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The deck has beautiful views of the Gulf and there was ample space for little ones to play with bubbles even when it was raining. Can't wait to stay here again. There is so much to enjoy at the Connor Cottage!

The Beach House with all Your Needs!

Tony and Jessica’s place was the perfect house for a short weekend getaway. The home had comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a great living area for hang outs, and a bar that had everything from an ice machine, to games, to television, to grill! I highly recommend this place to anyone, it was a great place for both adults and kids. The beach is a short walk/drive away, and the pool is in the community. The golf cart option is a plus! We used for our beach outings. We will definitely come back!

Our family loved our stay at Connor’s Cottage. The location is super easy access to the beach. The house was impeccably clean and the owners are super responsive and hospitable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. We will be back again!

60th Birthday Bash

I had the best time celebrating my 60th birthday at Connor's Cottage. The house is beautiful, lot's of room. I loved the private bathroom in master suite and queen bedroom. The full bathroom in hall area. We used the room with four beds as the kids room and they were comfortable and happy. Top deck was great sitting out there looking at the beach waves, so peaceful. But my favorite part of the house was the downstairs area, covered, outside lighting, fans and the Awesome bar area with fullsize refrigerator, sink, plenty of counter space for food prep. A giant size TV. It was Wonderful. Great walking access to beach and pool area. I would definitely stay here again.💜

Great place for a family vacation!

The beach is really nice: not crowded...and you can drive on the beach. The only thing is that you are not close to restaurants and stores. The house was really clean as stated. The communication was great. The golf cart made available was awesome by the owner! We would definitely come back.

Thank you for opening your home to us. Everything was awesome! Attention to detail everywhere. The bar area is an awesome perk. We recommend this home and agree that is very clean and includes so much. We loved the ability to rent the golf cart. We also had great communication with the host. Very responsive and detailed!

Perfect family vacation

House was perfect for our family vacation! Beds were comfy and so were the couches in the living room! House had all we could ever need and more! PitBoss didn’t work when we arrived but the owner was helpful to try to fix the problem! He couldn’t give a resolution so he ended up letting us having the golf cart all weekend to compensate! We really enjoyed our stay and will probably be back!

Perfect home away from home

The weather was really bad over the weekend but the beach house was perfect so it saved our trip. Cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in and the host thought of everything. I can wait to book this beach house again.

Connor's Cottage did not disappoint!

We loved everything about the property and it made our first vacation to Galveston extremely memorable. The house was big enough for two families to vacation together as it comfortably slept 4 adults and 4-5 children. The common areas where also spacious enough for this sized group, as the kitchen and living room are one open space and the under house bar area provided even more entertaining space. The Cottage is updated, clean, and has new furnishings. The grill/smoker was nice to have as another option for cooking. We ate at the house every night but one. If you are fine driving about ~25 mins west of Galveston, San Luis provides less crowded beaches and quieter nights.

Great Beach House

Great property to enjoy a beach trip with friends and family. House is clean and well stocked with great downstairs bar and games. Be sure to ask the owner about the golf cart.

Family vacation

Our family of 8 plus 2 grandparents stayed at Connors Cottage and it exceeded our expectations! They didn’t miss a detail and it was most definitely the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. We loved taking the golf cart to the beach access close by. We loved being a little bit away from Galveston because the beaches were much less busy. We would definitely love to come back!

Amazing View

This house was gorgeous, well stocked and clean. We loved sitting at night in the bar area playing games and watching TV. Loved sitting on the balcony drinking coffee and looking at the ocean. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home even more perfect than the pictures! Super clean and such a great location! We loved the outdoor area downstairs and spent lots of time there! Communication with the property manager was great! We never had to wait for an answer for anything we needed! I would 10 out of 10 stay again and recommend this beautiful home!

Stop Looking!! This is the one!

How do I begin?! Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! First off we have 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls -3-14 yrs of age. We had plenty of room! Connors cottage lacked nothing! It was exactly what your looking for with a family stay or if it’s a few couples or just you and the wife. The whole experience was tremendous! The communication from start to finish was so refreshing and made for a stress free stay! We could see the Gulf from our top deck while sitting in the high top beach chairs and when we went to the beach or the small communities gated and keyed pool area it was a short enjoyable walk or golf cart ride! (Rent the golf cart you won’t regret it) the patio bar area was like a dream! It had EVERYTHING! The pellet grill was amazingly easy to use and they provide informative instructions on everything! The beds were extremely comfortable and there are 3 full bathrooms with updated and large showers/tub plenty of hot water to take 3 showers at the same time! (Which definitely comes in handy with 7 kids) The community is new and beautiful and there is so much to do in Galveston. Easy driving distance to things like liquor store, seven seas (convenience store) or even a gas station and so much more. I could honestly write more about what it offers but I don’t want to spoil the surprise excitement you will have when you get there! Connors cottage is updated, super clean and has everything you could want in a vacation stay!!A++++++ Look no further, THIS IS THE PLACE!

great property

my family of three and ours friend(family of 4) all stayed in this house and it was more than spacious and comfortable for everyone. the house is beautiful, it has everything you could need. the location was great and there’s easy access to the beach. the community pool was also great, and it was never packed! the downstairs bar is the perfect hangout area as well! i loved that it was only 30 minutes from town so we got away from the crowded beach area but we weren’t too far from all of the “things to do. will definitely stay here again next time we visit Galveston.

Excellent stay

Great property and location. Not huge on the inside but very well laid out. Easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids. Extremely well appointed; owners have thought of everything and includes a lot of extras that most other rentals do not. Golf cart made getting to the pool and beach very easy. We also really enjoyed the downstairs and bar area which included corn hole, washers, and giant jenga which the kids all loved. 5 stars

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

We had the best weekend and great stay for our daughter's prom weekend. We had everything we needed, beautiful view, with nice cool breezes. The amenities were everything as described and, in my opinion, better. The access to the beach, either by car or golf cart, was very simple. The community pool was also very nice. Our host was quick to respond to my many questions and extremely accommodating. We have rented beach houses for years, this one is on the top of my list and we will be renting this gem again!
