If you are planning a trip to the Smoky Mountains anytime soon, this is the place to stay. It’s 14 min from Robbinsville, 16 min from Deals Gap The Tail of the Dragon and Moonshine 28, and 20 min to the Cherohola Skyway. It is very trailer friendly and has a cool garage to store your bikes. It actually feels like you’re in your home away from home. The property and house was well maintained and clean. And to top it off the host was so friendly and very responsive when contacting her. Hopefully for our next trip up here The Dragons Lair will be available.

Property was perfect for the visit we planned, utilized the garage a good deal between bike adjustments and car repairs during the stay. Ac works amazing inside the house, WiFi is strong, and plenty of space to accommodate our group. Would recommend and stay again. Thanks!

We love this property for our trip. I haven’t been able to go for the last three years because the motorcycle rally fell over Mother’s Day. I run a corporate restaurant and that is a mandatory work week for me. The upgrades are wonderful since the last time I was there. We already booked for next year.

Great time, Beautiful part of the country. Definitely the perfect location for the rides in the area. The dragon theme of the house was a nice touch, even in the bathrooms.

The property owner went out of their way to help us with everything to make our stay the best it could be. It was my first time they worked with me along the way more than expected to help me understand how the whole process worked and answered every question the home was in great condition and the house was super clean and very welcoming and warm with a great location for the purpose of our stay.

Fantastic Location

Pretty much everything about this place was fantastic. The garage was perfect to store our motorcycles in overnight to keep them out of the weather. We even got to meet and love on a couple of dogs.

Questions to the owner were responded to very quickly, even weeks out, when I would reach out I felt like my group was top priority, (thats just how they make ya feel). The Host has set up this place with Riders in mind that are in town for the excellent motorcycling that takes place, especially riders of the Tail of The Dragon, hence the massive fire breathing Dragon in the Garage, (just kidding, it doesnt actually breathe fire), but it looks like it could. That and the little details you notice around the house you'll have to see for yourself make this place an excellent choice if you are in town for the Dragon. Situated roughly 8-9miles from Robbinsville and about the same distance from The Tail of the Dragon, you are a short, scenic ride from amenities as well as the main attraction and just far enough away off the main road where you arent listening to excessive or obnoxious street traffic going to and from the gap. If we ever decide to return and ride the gap again we are definitely going to be checking availability here first!

Motorcycle Riders

Perfect place close ro all the rides .The hosts thought of everything we needed. Very clean and in a calm and quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend.

First Trip to the Dragon

My sons and I had a great time. This was the perfect location. We were able to go to different trails each day and come back here. The house was the perfect size for us. And the garage was great to store our motorcycles. We will definitely be back again!!

Perfect!

My brother and I spent a week here enjoying the motorcycle riding. The house was perfect for us. The location is great. The garage works great for keeping the motorcycles out of the weather. We brought 5 and the garage is plenty big for those. Quiet neighborhood at night and it was nice to enjoy coffee on the porch before leaving for the day. A+

The paved driveway and garage were great for our motorcycles. Inside everything was decorated for fall and there were so many small touches, including a coffee service with K cups, cream and sugar included. Even cleaning rags and armor all to clean up the bikes after riding the Tail of the Dragon. Communication was great, especially giving us information about the conditions after the hurricane came through to the east of them.

Good flat driveway easy for lower cars and bikes. Good location easy access to the tail of the dragon and robbinsville. The house is exactly as described you won’t go wrong picking this place to stay.
