After a full day of sight seeing and adventuring you will love to come home to our comfortable cozy condo located in the city limits of beautiful Traverse City. The Blue Heron is perfectly located across the street from West Grand Traverse Bay where you will want to play at the beach and sip wine as you experience the beautiful sunsets.

We are a short walk to all of Traverse City's unique shops and wonderful restaurants. A scenic drive will take you out to the award winning wineries on Old Mission Peninsula and the Leelanau Peninsula. A bike ride on the 10 mile TART trail is awaiting you right out your door. Your children will enjoy a day of play at F&M park while you grill your dinner on the many grills provided directly across the street. Traverse City and the surrounding area has an endless list of adventures for you to explore including: golfing, boating, casinos, bike/boat, kayak , SUP rentals, hiking trails and cultural activities such as Interlochen Center for the Arts, Old Town Playhouse, not to mention our National Lake Shore just a short drive away.

Our comfortable cozy condo is fully stocked for your convenience. We have wood floors on the main level with a nice balcony to enjoy morning coffee. The spacious kitchen overlooks the main living area and is fully equipped with a full range and oven, a microwave and new dishwasher. We also supply a coffeemaker and a kuerig along with a full pantry. We are happy to provide a large smart TV with High Speed Fiber Optics Internet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms each with their own private bath, queen bed, and TV. The primary bedroom also has patio doors to a nice balcony.

Across the street is a large perfectly maintained public park with playground equipment and several grills. Also, right out of our building door is a large bike rack.

As the new owner of the Blue Heron, we want to assure all of our guests that you will continue to receive high quality service. We also will try to accommodate flexible schedules so please email for information about variable stays. Please note that we do not have elevators and we politely request no bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Property was very clean and maintained. Lisa the property manager was friendly and showed us all the amenities upon our arrival. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom. Close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Will definitely book this unit again!!

Birthday weekend in Traverse City

The unit was beautiful. Decorations were cute but not cheesy. Even though we needed very little in supplies Lisa made sure everything was available in the kitchen and bathrooms. We really enjoyed that each of the bedrooms had its own bathroom with another 1/2 bath on the main level. Lisa also provided great recommendations when asked - best cherry pie, farmer's market, and vegan restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Fall weekend fun

This condo is always immaculately clean. It’s in a nice location and close enough to downtown Traverse City to walk. Communication and check-in are great. Love staying here.

Perfect location

The Blue Heron is a great way to visit TC

The unit was spotless upon arrival. The manager Lisa was very helpful and approachable both before check-in and upon arrival. The location was wonderful. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. There were days we didn’t even use our car. It is also only a short drive to other lovely day trip destinations. Even in wet, chilly weather, we had a good experience. I’d stay here again. Traverse City is a good vacation town, and the Blue Heron is a great way to visit TC.

Just bring your toothbrush! Everything is here. Great communication and very easy to deal with. Location is within a short walk to downtown.

Location is walking distance to downtown. Condo has EVERYTHING you could need. We did beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes, rode e-bikes from Petoskey along the beautiful shoreline, did a 10 person wine tour of 4 wineries, visited the Gypsy distillery which is awesome and full of games. Friday night music and food trucks up the street was amazing. A true family affair. Warehouse district was disappointing

The Perfect Vacation Rental!

This condo was very, very clean and comfortable. Two master suites (one with a balcony, 1 ½ bath, and open living area with lots of windows and balcony with limited view of the lake! This condo was the best stocked I have ever rented! Every item you will need. Had all kitchen essentials including condiments, cooking oils coffee, creamer, Keurig and drip coffee maker. Bathrooms were well equipped; towels were large size and newer. Beds/Mattresses were very comfortable. Check-in was very smooth and communications with the host and property manager were excellent. We had a very special need that we requested, and they accommodated us which they do not have to do. Condo is priced below market!

Perfect Location and Communication

We originally booked this location for two couples for a wedding event. Turns out only my wife and I were able to attend, but the condo and it's location were perfect for our three day stay. Most events were within walking distance and it was only a very short ride to anywhere else we wanted or needed to be. As it happens our very good friend and father to the groom was housed in the same building! that proved to be very beneficial. Cathy, and her property manager, Lisa, were more than accommodating and the communication couldn't have been better. We will definitely know where to go should we again venture to Northern Michigan in the future. Thank you both.

Girl's Get-a-way

The Blue Heron condo in Traverse City is the best place at which we have ever stayed. It is spotless, fully stocked with paper products, plenty of bath towels, shampoo, rinse and soap! Lisa, the property manager is so nice, welcoming and always accessible. The condo's location is perfect, not downtown, but a few blocks away and and easy walk to all of the shops and amazing restaurants! We are already talking about our return trip! Thanks to the owners of Blue Heron for sharing their lovely condo with total strangers, and thank you Lisa for taking such great care of us! Have a successful summer! yearly wine weekend get away with friends

This is our 2nd time at this condo. We started getting away with another couple years ago. This condo is great! Clean, up to date decor, location and the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Lisa with the check in/out instructions was smooth. Thank you Kathy, hopefully our dates next year work out to stay here.

Excellent location and very clean!

The condo is super clean and well-stocked. The location is great - close enough to walk downtown but next to a quiet park. Lisa, the manager, is awesome and super communicative. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I am originally from Alpena, Michigan. My husband and I along with our two daughters moved here in June 2001 from New Buffalo, Michigan. We raised our children here and it was a fantastic community to raise our daughters. Our daughters are now married with families of their own. Our oldest daughter lives with her family in Orlando, Florida and our youngest is with her family in Verrado, Arizona. The girls love to come back to Traverse City with their families every summer for an extended period to enjoy all of the wonderful opportunities our area has to offer. We love all things outdoors. It doesn't matter if you are a summer lover or a winter lover, we have all of the activities you would want for a Traverse City vacation. I am excited to be a host because I love watching and hearing others enjoying our wonderful community.

I think the Bay Park condos (Blue Heron) are the perfect Traverse City location as we are only one block from a beautiful beach, and walking distance to all of the quaint shops, incredible restaurants and bars and the beautiful West Bay waterfront including Clinch Park Marina. We are only one block from the 10 mile long TART trail. We also are lucky enough to have the beautiful F & M Park directly across the street. I also love the architecture of our buildings. They are so very inviting.

Our Blue Heron condo is very spacious and comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and each has a brand new smart tv. We have a full size stackable washer and dryer. We have two balconies to enjoy with a very pleasant view. High speed Internet has recently been installed and the entire condo has three brand new smart tv's where you can tap into all of your favorite apps. Our condo is impeccably clean and offers many personal extras.
