Visiting CA for my daughter’s wedding so didn’t spend much time in the house but it was a comfortable stay with everything we needed. I would’ve loved to have had the chance to cook in the beautiful kitchen! The backyard was nice to sit for morning coffee. Location was great and host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

The home was clean and cozy, with all the amenities you'd hope to have in a "home away from home." Beds were very comtortable, and the updated kitchen was clean and ready for use. The location has easy access to shopping and freeways, making travel in and around the Bay area very convenient. Most importantly, the property host provided excellent communication throughout the process, and move in/out instructions were clear and concise. Would recommend!

It’s a great location, comfortable beds, great kitchen and the lanai is beautiful. Amy, the host, is very nice and returns messages promptly. Highly recommend.

This VRBO was pristine and the beds were very comfortable. It’s very updated, and it was so nice to have a washer/dryer available for our stay. We loved our stay and hope to stay here again during our future visits. I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to Oakland.

Absolutely loved stayed here. We were only here for a long weekend, but it had everything we needed. The place was updated and clean. The only thing I would note is that there is some road noise if people are sensitive to that. It didn't bother me or my husband in the back bedroom.

Our week here could not have gone more smoothly. The home is spotless, with modern appliances and all the comforts of home. Nice to have a driveway for the car. The back yard is pleasant and comfortable. Everything is as described. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking although we did all of our cooking at a nearby relative’s home. The location is close to grocery stores, restaurants and a good brew pub. We had zero issues.

Amy was quick to respond to questions. Lovely 2 bedroom house. Nicely decorated, as well as functional! Conveniently located near restaurants & food market. We enjoyed our stay & would return on future visits to Oakland.

Great place in Oakland

This was a perfect spot for our 10-day visit to Oakland. Comfortable digs. Great kitchen. And a good grocery within easy walking distance. The host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Flawless stay in Oakland

Everything about this house was excellent. Perfectly clean and beautifully designed/decorated. It has the nicest bedding of any short term rental I’ve ever stayed in! Great communication with owner. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Oakland.

Perfect spot!

This place is a treasure, super clean with all new appliances, furniture, etc. And our host Amy made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this for short or long term stays. We'll be back!

Loved the Casa

Communication with property manger easy through the App. Casa was super clean. WE loved it! Kitchen had everything we needed to make a lite morning breakfasts and cooked dinner twice. Beds were very comfy. Our fur baby loved the backyard. As did we.

A quality short term rental home.

My wife and I found Amy's property to be both clean and comfortable. The furniture, appliances, dishes, silverware, towels, and sheets were all new; it is a step above what we usually find renting a home in the Oakland area. Amy replied to all requests and questions promptly. We would definitely rent this home again.

Cute and comfy

The house is in tip top shape. Nicely decorated. Everything you need. No issues whatsoever. The owner was very thoughtful and answered questions quickly. Will definitely rent again and would recommend to friends and fam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect week at Casa Laurel

I recently stayed at Casa Laurel with my husband and had a fantastic experience. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking enjoyable, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness of the place exceeded my expectations. The stylish decor maintained quality, and the warm, soft lighting created a cozy atmosphere. The outdoor sitting area was perfect, and being located at the base of the redwoods added a magical touch. Additionally, the convenience of a small organic market up the street was the cherry on top. Amy was a gracious, warm host and commuication was always propt and clear through our two week stay. We highl recommend a stay at Casa Laurel and will be back next time we are in the East Bay. Five stars without a doubt!

This space was perfect for our family of four. We were traveling with two kids and the space was just right. Everything we could have wanted was furnished in the house. We visited during an especially warm week and the house did get quite warm while we were away during the day. Opening the front and back doors gave us instant relief in the evenings. It was great to have the security screens on both doors to feel more secure in an unfamiliar area. The *only* thing that we could have wished for was screens on the bedroom windows so we could have more air flow there. The space was amazing in all other ways! The location is great. We toured Oakland, went for a hike, and also traveled into San Francisco. It was an easy drive to the ferry parking garage and then we used all public transportation.
