Sunny Spacious House in Vibrant Berkeley/Oakland Rockridge

Welcome to the Rockridge, one of the most vibrant areas in Oakland/Berkeley. Walk to BART to go to SF or take 7-min bus to UC Berkeley or simply dine at our neighborhood's great restaurants.

This sunny upstairs unit is about 1250 sq ft and it has two bedrooms, a family room with couch, and a large living room with queen sleeper sofa. The bathroom has been remodeled to cater to guests' needs. The house is tastefully decorated with new furniture and linen. Enjoy Keurig coffee or specialty tea in our cozy tea room. Cook if you like in the full kitchen with necessary cookwares and utensils. Free WiFi and laundry onsite. Free street parking or on-site parking for a small fee. Pets ($18/stay) are welcome.

Rockridge area is cozy neighborhood with many great intimate restaurants, bakeries, ice cream stores, a Trader Joe, Safeway, and several boutique stores. Walk a few blocks and you are in Elmwood, Berkeley, home of famous Claremont hotel. It has easy access to public transportation; BART (yellow line) takes you to downtown SF and San Francisco Airport, and 51B bus takes you to UC Berkeley (7-10 min).

VERY spacious and comfortable for 4 adults. Easy walking to a variety of restaurants and markets and to BART which is great if you’re planning to go into city. My sister and her husband took BART back to SFO airport for return flight home and said it was good experience. Did take uber from unit to station but if traveling light could probably just walk. We would book again if in this area. The only downside is we could not figure out how to watch live TV shows such as news and sports - football / baseball. Only streaming such ax Netflix.

Overall, we had a very comfortable stay! The house is incredibly spacious and located in a perfect spot close to great restaurants and walking paths. My only minor suggestions for improvement would be adding a better setup for trash and upgrading the TV. Would definitely stay again.

This was actually our second time staying here. The location is hard to beat—near great coffee, food, shopping, BART and my BFF. Since our last stay, the windows were upgraded to nice, new ones. However, the inexpensive furniture is definitely showing wear, even the blanket covering the stained couch was all worn-out. The cleaning seemed like a hasty job, hopefully that was a one-time problem. The apartment is spacious; has what we need for our stay to see friends, family and our old hometown; and is in a great location. We also loved that our pup could join us. Thanks!!

I am sorry and shocked to learn that Nursultan found my house with bad smell. I visit my property regularly and never had an issue. BUT more importantly, NONE of other guests, either before or after Nursultan did not find or smell anything. So I am sorry for Nursultan's experience, but I can categorically state that there is no smell issue and all the other guests had a good experience.

The host’s follow up was very prompt. The flat was commodious, well stocked, warm, and comfortable with some very homely touches. A perfect place to spread out and enjoy the culinary scene of Rockridge.

It was easy to make simple things. We did borrow a coffee filter we prefer pour over coffee. But everything in the rooms was pleasant and the place was clean. Nice views of hills and the yard also the flat is close to many transportation options, and so walkable to alot of great food and coffee!

Spacious, clean, uncluttered upper unit. Everything (stove, shower, microwave, etc.) was simple to operate and worked well. Near BART, Rockridge, and a short bus to Cal campus. One hiccup in our four days. I texted Chris and he called immediately and walked me through steps to resolution. A plus.

Sunny spacious rooms on a busy street that felt like an oasis of peace. We had a great stay using kitchen some and eating out some as Rockridge is a foodie’s dream neighborhood.

Perfect Location for Us

Chris' property was just what we needed for our visit to family in the area. A great location, a comfy apartment and easy to communicate with him. Plenty of life's necessities were on hand to make our stay comfortable. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafés nearby as well.

Great Location, clean

Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Plenty of street parking and allowed our pup to stay with us. Only negative was the wood floors that made it tricky to walk quietly with being on the second level.

Light and Bright 2BR in Rockridge Near Everything

Can’t beat the location! Spacious 2BR was within walking distance shops and restaurants - plus BART. Comfy beds. We’ll equipped kitchen. Great spot for short or long stays. Ample street parking.

Nice clean upstairs flat in Rockridge

We really enjoyed our stay here, and since our main purpose was to visit our son and attend the Big Game, we also appreciated being right next to the bus stop where we could hop on for a short ride up College to Memorial stadium. Also nice to be really close to all of the great restaurants on College. Chris was a great communicator and we had no problems with anything during our stay
