- Private swimming area in warm, clear bottom water. Lake Simcoe is wonderful for swimming. The waterfront is zero entry and gets gradually deeper - only waist deep at the end of the dock. The water is clear, without weeds with a sandy/stony bottom. We all wear swim shoes for the stones.

Lovely cottage with a gorgeous view of Lake Simcoe. The huge yard with fire pit was a highlight. Nothing fancy but a great spot to get away from the city. Everything was smooth and we were very happy with the whole process.

We loved our stay at this cottage. It was very reasonably priced and very bright and clean. The lake and dock were amazing and we loved swimming and sitting by the fire at night. Highly recommend.

We had a relaxing long weekend at a cottage with a beautiful lake view, fire pit, and barbecue. The host was very responsive, but the building is older with some bugs, old kitchen and there’s a nearby railway whose trains give loud honks at night. Adding canoes or similar activities would make it even better.

Christmas Family Gathering

Celebrating Christmas with relatives in Beaverton and needed our own space for the weekend! Owners were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Such a great little cottage in the perfect location. Highly recommend!

A gem of a place for a family gathering

We rented this lovely cottage on the lake and invited nearby family members to visit our stay for a few days. Everyone from babies to elders enjoyed the shallow water and catching some sun on the dock. The cottage was well stocked with towels, linens and cookware.

Family vacation on the lake

The view is amazing. Steep steps to the dock and water access. House is spacious. Home is a bit dated but overall maintained. The oven didn’t work during our stay and the sloppy floors were a bit difficult for our handicapped family member. Overall we had a nice family vacation. The view makes up for little inconveniences.

Great vacation

Cottage: great amenities, clean, all that you need for a wonderful stay. Backyard: generous, private, excellent sunset views very nice outdoor fireplace. Beach: excellent 2 entry points, from the land and from a very nice dock. Lake simcoe: clean water and warm (~25 Celsius) at the end of July. The only think you may need to bring is beach chairs for the dock. We will stay here again. Thank you very much for hosting us.

Family get-together

Perfect size ranch bungalow accommodating 6 adults with 1 1/2 bathrooms. Backs onto Lake Simcoe with stairs leading down to the pebble beach and dock. Quiet and private location with cedar hedges separating properties. Short drive to Beaverton, local grocery store and LCBO. Would rent again.

Long Weekend Getaway

An incredibly view with the clearest water. The yard was open and very spacious. Property was well stocked. There were a ton of little fruit flies especially in the bathroom and master bedroom, which was a little off putting. But overall we had a good time. And that view was spectacular.

Set on 105 feet of Lake Simcoe waterfront with a western exposure, this cottage offers everything for a great getaway Situated in a beautiful country setting, private and quiet; you’d never know you were only a stone’s throw from city amenities. Enjoy shopping, restaurants & festivals in town (walk to Beaverton) and nearby Orillia, Fenelon Falls, Lindsay & Uxbridge or take in dinner, a show and gambling at Casino Rama, 20 minutes away. Park your boat at your own private dock and fish, swim, ski or tube in warm, clear water (weed free) with a sandy/stony bottom. Close by to the Trent Canal system. In the evening delight in tropical sunsets and roast marshmallows and hot dogs in the fire pit at night.
