There is absolutely nothing to say bad about this place! Host was great amenities were great! Location was great. Just a beautiful place great house where you feel at home even though you’re on vacation.

Smee’s Last Resort was a dream to stay at. Jeanne and Al were so kind and easy to communicate with. This cute house sits directly on the most beautiful beach - the water is unreal! We lived in the water, kayaked to turtle island explored the cave - so cool! We grilled almost every night. The house is extremely well stocked. Mornings spent with coffee on the wood plank deck closer to the water - most beautiful panoramic view of TOC. We can’t recommend this home enough. Thank you so much for such an amazing trip!

After more than 10 years, my wife and I finally had the chance to share the beauty of the Tropic of Cancer beach with our two children — and we found the perfect place to do it.Smee’s was amazing: spotless, clean, and stocked with every amenity we could need. In the evenings, when we weren’t out marveling at the incredible stars, there were plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. The location was unbeatable, and our local host, Al, was incredibly gracious and thoughtful, making sure we were comfortable the entire stay.It felt like having our own private beach — we never saw another soul the whole time we were there. This place is truly a treasure, tucked in one of the most beautiful spots in the world — though it’s unfortunately being discovered more and more each year. Do yourself a favor and book this place for your next getaway. You will not regret it.

My family had the best time at Smee’s last resort! The location was beyond ideal- we felt like we had our own private spot on one of the best beaches in the world! We did a few days trips, but really just loved hanging out at the beach house! The covered deck area was so wonderful and we loved being able to come up to the house to cool off throughout the day. We used the provided kayaks to explore the area and saw all kinds of wild life! We had planned to eat out more than we did- but ended up cooking at home and using the grill a lot. Hard to beat eating dinner out on the deck! Thank you for sharing your house with us- it was an unforgettable trip that we’d love to do again!

Excellent getaway

Jeanne’s property was excellent. Stayed for 4 nights. Beach was beautiful and as advertised. Al the caretaker was excellent and very helpful. Hope to make it to Exuma again

Escape to paradise!

Smee’s Last resort is incredible! The views are breathtaking! Al is wonderful and so helpful! We had an amazing adventure and we will definitely be back!

Great house and fantastic location

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay away from the crowds on the most beautiful beach in the world, this is the place for you. At Smees Last Resort, you are right on the beach but only a short walk to Brea's Delights. We were here with the whole family and it was great for everyone. Definitely recommended and will definitely be back.

If you have made the decision to stay on Exuma, do yourself a favor and stay at Smee's Last Resort. My wife and I just stayed for 4 nights. 10/10. The location was amazing. It was in Little Exuma which is about a 30 minute drive from the "hustle and bustle" of George Town. It was ON the beach. Not "beach adjacent". So quite. It's the off season but we literally only saw 4 people walk by the house the entire time we were there. The house was in great shape. No shenanigans. A/C was great and always good to come home from after a day kayaking to the lazy river and renting a boat to go to Stocking Island. Very clean and well appointed. The internet was very fast and we were able to stream movies no problem. They had a back up generator that runs the entire home and actually kicked in for about 2 hours the first night we were there when a small thunderstorm rolled thru. The host was great and responded to any questions promptly.

WOW!

Amazing views, wonderful property and everything you need to relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The local property manager Al was super responsive as was the owner, and the house was well taken care of!

Absolutely stunning location right on Tropic of Cancer beach! And every possible thing you might need to enjoy the beach and water - large deck, multiple beach chairs, recliners, table, water tubes, outdoor shower, etc … and that unbelievable view from the master bedroom of the turquoise water and best beach I’ve ever seen. Jeanne, the host, is very responsive and communicates well, and Al, who takes care of the property is equally as responsive and wonderful. I just hope this is still available in the coming years to rent as well! Highly recommend

Excellent Location!

The house was a true beachfront cottage, very inviting and cozy! Al was very nice and extremely helpful as we had an issue with the water the first night and he replaced the pump and even called later in the evening to make sure that all was good. We were a family of seven and would all love to stay there again on a future visit. Beautiful views from inside the house ,the porch and the beachfront deck!

Pure Happiness

This property is absolute paradise. I have been to Exuma 6 times now. This house is perfect for a family, or even for a romantic getaway with your partner. The owner and property manager was great, and easy to work with. Literally walk out the back door, and your on the most beautiful beach in the world. Highly recommend this home.

We just returned from an unforgettable stay at this incredible home on Little Exuma, and we can't recommend it highly enough. The location is unbeatable, perfectly situated right on Tropic of Cancer Beach, which is hands-down the best beach on Exuma. Waking up to that view every morning was pure magic.The house itself was thoughtfully equipped with everything our family needed for a comfortable stay, and the back porch was spacious and perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. One thing that really stood out was the generator system, the island experienced four power outages during our trip, and each time the generator kicked in seamlessly. We never lost power once, which made a huge difference for our peace of mind.The owner, was wonderful to work with and super responsive to all our questions leading up to the trip. And Al and Karleen, who host the property, were as kind and welcoming as could be. They had the house spotless and ready for us right when we arrived. Al went above and beyond, giving us great recommendations for local restaurants and even bringing us fresh mangos one morning — such a sweet, generous touch!Our time at Smee's will stay with our family as one of our favorite vacation memories. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us — we hope to be back.

Smee’s Last Resort

Property was just what we were looking for…on a beautiful beach, very relaxing! We didn’t find many restaurants we liked in the area, plus we didn’t want to leave the perfect view, so we stopped at the Exuma market in Georgetown for groceries. We found everything we needed to cook our meals in the well appointed kitchen, including a new gas grill. The drinking water provided was so appreciated. Plenty of chairs to lounge on the beautiful deck and they provided 2 kayaks to explore.

Anniversary Bliss

We stayed ten days at Smee's Last Resort at the quiet end of the Tropic of Cancer Beach. The house was wonderful! We had everything we needed to cook and grill. The entire experience was so easy from start to finish. The manager greeted us when we came for check in. He showed us around and answered all of our questions. We sincerely enjoyed the sun, the kayaks and walking on the beach early each morning. Between Santana's, Brea's Bar and Grill and Mama's Bakery there was little reason to drive to town. We will be back to enjoy this very special place!!!

Beautiful blues

Smee's Last Resort is nestled in the bluest paradise and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It fit our family of 7 perfectly. The master bedroom provides an amazing view of the water...and the starriest sky at night. I enjoyed my coffee every morning while walking the Tropic of Cancer beach. The family used the kayaks and snorkels and Smee's has a large dining room table for meals and card games. Our teenage daughters were pleasantly surprised to find everything they needed to bake...so most nights ended with a cookie or brownie. Al and Karleen took great care of our family in checking us in and showing us the home. Host Jeanne was quick to respond, friendly and we are very thankful to have stayed in this beautiful home. Thank you Jeanne! We hope to be back soon!
