We had a great stay and the owner was very easy to work with. We loved all of the SUP and kayaks! Huge hit with the kids.

Beautiful property on Lake Anna was perfect for our extended family to stay for long wedding weekend. The owners have everything you need with plenty of space for everyone. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

Absolutely fantastic house! So many amenities and everything was thought of. Communication was phenomenal when we had questions. Already looking forward to going back!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. There were 12 of us (4 children), and the house accommodated us all with ease. We used the boathouse daily, equipped with 7 decent paddleboards and kids kayaks, plenty of life vests (lots of extra big and extra small, but could use some Adult M and L sizes), paddles, noodles, and other goodies that made enjoying the water easy. The lagoon was too shallow to use the slide, but that would have been fun too. The kids loved the fish and the turtles tooling around the lagoon, the adults loved the idea that the lagoon provided safe swimming for the kids all day without the boat traffic to worry about. Other features we enjoyed - comfy beds, nice cookware, games and puzzles, spacious rooms, fluffy blankets, and a solid air conditioning unit that had to really work to combat the 100 degree heat. We have done many beach house vacations in the past, but this is our first lake house vacation. We loved the proximity to the water, the lack of sand to deal with, and the privacy. I highly recommend if you are considering! Thanks for the hospitality!

Loved our stay here.

This was a wonderful house for a large group of people. We had a great space for the kids, a young family with a baby and then several couples. The view is wonderful. The house was really clean and well stocked. Everyone really enjoyed the paddleboards.

A beautiful stay

What a lovely home! The location was wonderful and the views were stunning. We had privacy to kayak, fish, play in the yard, roast s’mores at the fire pit and birdwatch. The hosts were so accommodating and helpful. Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving here, and the 2 kitchens, 2 refrigerators and 3 ovens made the cooking a breeze. We hope to return soon to this very special home.

This house had so much potential but fell waaay short of expects. We rented it excited for our kids to use the dock slide, jump off the dock, use the swingset, and rent a boat for a day. Unfortunately, the property is completely misadvertized. The water in the lagoon was only inches deep under the dock…and apparently this has been the case for many months according to a neighbor of the property we could not let the kids use the slide or jump off the dock, nor could we rent a boat. Additionally, the swingset was completely rotted through with nails sticking out of and a handyman confirmed not to allow children on it. The house was clearly not cleaned. Coffee grounds were still over flowed in the coffee pot and the dust and cobwebs were atrocious. We had to clean the vacuum before it would work. A handyman came and had to replace the air filter in the A/C because it was so clogged the unit turned off. Most things in the house were broken and unusable. The fooseball table was broken. The ice machine was broken. The main door knob was broken and we had to buy tools to fix it just to be able to lock it at night. There was also a broken TV, broken A/C for two days, shower that barely drained, broken toilet seat, hose nozzle, and porch awning. The house has potential but is not at all what is advertised and is clearly neglected by the hosts.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful house.

I could not have dreamt up a more perfect house for our stay. The house was clean, spacious, accommodating and comfortable. Plenty of activities inside and out for all ages. We especially enjoyed utilizing the paddle boards, Lilly pad and boat dock/lagoon area. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The check-in/check-out process was a breeze. Zero complaints. A beautiful house to spend a great week with awesome friends and family. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic!!!

This was not our first rental on the lake but was definitely a favorite. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for all 16 of us and was well stocked! The location cannot be beat. The lagoon was a highlight. The kids were able to swim, paddle board, and even fish in it without having to worry about boating traffic on the main part of the lake. The owner was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing vacation for all!

EXCELLENT Property - More stars if I could

What an excellent property. It started with the outstanding pre-stay communications. The owners shared a very detailed document that included everything we needed during our stay. Next, the property itself was outstanding. It fit our whole family of 12 easily with room to spare. Its a wonderful location right on Lake Anna. Wish we had been there in the warm weather to enjoy the lake. The house was clean and in really good shape (best of the rentals we have done over the years).Best of all was the communications with the owners. We did not have any problems just a few things to clarify and they were very responsive,I HIGHLY recommend this property and will go back again if we decided to do another visit to the Lake Anna area.

The Best House on Lake Anna

This lakefront property is stunning. We stayed mid October and the weather could not have been more perfect. The little cove at the boat dock was a perfect spot for getting on the paddle boards that were included with this property. Surprisingly, the lake water was warm! We had 6 couples (my siblings and 91 year old Mother and a couple of kids) for a family reunion. The common living space accommodated us all very nicely with plenty of seating for eating and watching football games. The kitchen was well stocked and included a secondary kitchen on the lower level. The views from the large deck, living and dining room and master bedroom were gorgeous! One of the reasons we picked this house was the accessibility with just a couple of steps into the house and the walkway to the dock for my mother. Unfortunately, a family member had a medical emergency the first night there and I spent a lot of time at the hospital during our rental. Our host went above and beyond to offer us a late checkout and even a free night stay since my sister was still hospitalized. Even before we arrived, he answered all my questions promptly about the property and provided an exhaustive guide to his lake house and things to do in the area. Do not hesitate to book this property; you will not be disappointed!

We had a fabulous stay. This was one of our favorite houses we have rented for our family reunion. We had about half kids and half adults and everyone had a great time. We brought our surf boat and it was nice to be able to tie it up in the lagoon so it was protected when it got windy. The water in the lake was a couple of feet lower than normal during our stay so our kids could all touch the bottom in the lagoon. The paddle boards were fun for all. It was nice not to have to haul our own. The kitchen was well stocked to cook for a large group and we had plenty of seating. We can’t wait to come back!
