There were 19 of us who visited. We had plenty of room and had a blast. Renting the boat for a week was definitely a good choice. The water was low because of lack of rain, but we just went out in the boat and swam out in the lake. Very quiet and had everything we could ask for.

Great house, very comfortable with 7 adults and 6 children. Didn’t feel cramped. The large kids bedroom was great. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. Rent the boat and enjoy the lake, you won’t be disappointed. We would definitely return to this property.

Understanding that there is a common area, not part of the rental, this host also rents boats and jet skis from his boathouse which is part of the rental. This allows strangers to come on and off the rented property while my grandchildren are playing, swimming, and fishing around the boathouse, and as the boats have to be returned, this creates two interruptions where we must cease activities to allow this process to complete, not to mention the dangers associated with strangers and children.

Amazing place to stay so open and welcoming. Has everything you could ever need and when there was a small issue Bobby was able to help us so quickly! Great place will come back!

Our extended family stayed here on Easter weekend to celebrate my mother in law’s 75 th birthday. 19 family members celebrated and the house fit our needs. There were plenty of beds and space to spread out. We were able to fish and use the kayaks and have an Easter egg hunt on the property. Everyone had a great time.

It was an incredibly peaceful location and the house was very comfortable and spacious. Bobby was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with, and we all enjoyed our time here.

When we arrived to check in, the house overall was fine. Our issue was with the outside of the property. Some Areas were overgrown and in need of maintenance. Also there was no water underneath the pier or by the beach due to the water plant draining the lake 10 inches. Not the owners fault but this should have been communicated. One of the reasons we rented this property was because of the beach/pier/water play for our grandchildren. There was no way to play in the water off of the beach or the pier as there was no water. We had rented their boat, and there was no way to dock at the pier due to lack of water. The owner had made accommodations for us to use a pier on an adjacent property, but it was too far for us to walk as we were traveling with four small children. We also had big safety concerns since there was no water under the pier. If a child had fallen they would have injured themselves. There was no water view from the house, just a view of muck. The lack of water should have been communicated to us prior to arriving. The homeowner listened to our concerns,was very understanding and agreed to refund our money. Luckily we were able to find another property and enjoyed our week. If renting here, I would inquire about water levels and ask for current property pictures.

Awesome place

It was a great place and experience, starting with easy to do check-in process, to the check-out. Everything that you need for your vacation is available. They thought about everything. Great place and host, extremely recommended.

Wonderful place

We had a great experience. This is a wonderful place, clean, well equipped. Great Lake front location. Secluded. I highly recommend this place. Owner was very nice and easy to communicate.

Quiet and relaxing

The house was wonderful. Easy walk to the lake. The water temperature was higher then expected but the grandkids didn't mind at all. Very quiet enjoyed the eagles, herons and ospreys. Plenty of dishwear and enough pots and pans to make dinners for the 9 of us.

Memorial Day Weekend stay

We loved our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Anna. The house was clean, check in was easy and the owner communicated with us regarding any questions/concerns we had. The perfect spot for a big family to relax on the lake and have privacy and just minutes from the grocery store! We will be back!

Fantastic Week

Casa de Lago is a beautiful home and was perfect for our large family group. The description and amenities listed AND available made it easy to plan for meals and activities. Bobbie, the owner, was very responsive to questions and is a super host.

Perfect Place for a Family Vacation!

We stayed here for the Fourth of July and absolutely loved the property. The house is picturesque, overlooking a beautiful part of Lake Anna, and the house is well appointed. The owner was very responsive, and could’ve been a more gracious host! We would highly recommend this for families who want the best that Lake Anna offers. We look forward to returning for future trips.
