When we arrived, we pulled up to a large pile of trash on the left side of the building! The unit was not the same one advertised on VRBO booking site. No soap in the bathroom, 1 towel per person for 3 days, no towels in kitchen not even paper towels, no pods for the Keurig, no ice maker or ice trays for ice. After a long day of travel that would have been nice to have had a cold drink! We had to go out and find a store to buy ice. After calling the host and asking for these items, we were told his housekeeper was in to big of a hurry and forgot to leave all these items! Then in a text message we were told the maid was going out to purchase these items but we would have to remain at the unit for an hour and a half for the maid to deliver them. At that point we are late for dinner with friends, not acceptable! We have tried several times to communicate with the host but he has ghosted us. We sat down before we left the property and sent a lengthily email to the host with all the deficiencies and we were going to find another place to stay for the weekend. We have never received a response from the host or VRBO. Once we returned home we called VRBO and spoke to a customer care representative that was no help! Said he was calling the host and would get back in touch with us, which he never did. Its now been 3 weeks and we are still waiting for a response from the host and VRBO and a full Refund.
