We had the best stay at Ed’s View! It was the perfect spot for our daughter’s graduation from Auburn. The house truly had everything we needed and more. The view is absolutely beautiful, and we loved having plenty of parking for our group. The large table made it so special to gather and enjoy meals together. Communication with the host was great—very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for our family vacation

This house was perfect our family visiting from California and, Georgia and Alabama. There was plenty of room for the 10 people that stayed the 5 days and for the ones that joined us on Saturday for a day of family fun. Will definitely be our first choice when we need a lake house get away again.

Fantastic stay on the lake for Fall Break. Owner was very proactive in communicating and always followed up very quickly. House was just what we needed. We had a boat and floating dock was in great shape for us to use. The boat ramp was also super convenient.

Wedding Stay

Stayed here to go to a wedding at Overlook farms. Very clean and cozy place. Definitely would stay again. Kendall was great at communicating with me and keeping me informed about everything.

Great house, quiet location

Came for family and football. Six bedrooms! Wonderful porches and deck! Wish we planned to stay longer.

Relax on the Lake and Auburn Weekend

We had such a great time relaxing on the lake and spending time with family and friends. Quick drive to the football game and plenty of room for eight people in the house.

ABT South Tournament

We stayed here while fishing the Alabama Bass Trail Lake Martin tournament. It was very spacious four our 8 guest with plenty of parking. We will be renting again.

Thanksgiving at the Lake

My family rented the space for family Thanksgiving. It was a central location for us. The home was fantastic for our purposes. My dad is not able to climb stairs, but the three steps to the first floor were manageable for him with some help. Everything he needed was available on the first floor...his bedroom, a bathroom with walk-in shower, and the kitchen/dining area. We spent most of our time there and on the screened in porch just off the kitchen. There was quite a bit of seating on the porch, and the view was magnificent. We soaked up the sunshine that came onto the porch in the late morning/early afternoon. The kitchen was very well stocked. The area was very quiet and peaceful this time of year. We have already discussed visiting again next fall!

A Charming Lakeside Getaway - A Perfect Fall Escape!

My family and I recently had the most wonderful stay at this charming lakeside cottage at beautiful Lake Martin, Alabama. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, our experience was nothing short of perfect. The setting of this cottage is truly remarkable. Expansive lake frontage, with panoramic lake views, provided a sense of tranquility and escape. The cottage itself offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare some delicious home-cooked meals. The bedrooms were comfortable, providing us with a restful night's sleep. The highlight, of course, was the outdoor space. The screened porch overlooking the lake was our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets. We spent our days swimming, right off the private dock. There were several lounge chairs for catching some sun, as well as seating for meals on the covered overwater deck. This cabin is an easy 35-40 minute drive to Auburn University, making this a great base for a game weekend. The hosts, too, were fantastic. Their warm welcome and helpful tips about the local area made our stay even more special. It's evident that they take great pride in their property and genuinely care about the comfort of their guests. The cabin is not only stocked with necessities, but some extras as well. In summary, our stay at this quaint lakeside cottage exceeded all our expectations. We can't wait to return!
