What an amazing little cottage with wonderful lake views! The cottage was clean and communication with the owner was fantastic! We loved our time here!

We met Dan shortly after we arrived and he was so very nice! We plan to return the next time we decide to vacation in the area. Everything about the cottage was incredible.

I was disappointed that there was no beach to walk on . There was no pillows or blanket for the pull out bed just one sheet

The pillows and the blankets for the pull-out bed are located in the lower closet next to the refrigerator which we always would help anyone find if they actually ask us. The beach is gone from storms indeed it's been an on and off year due to multiple heavy storms with our beach. Check every property along this line of beach for the same unfortunate situation. Never like to see someone unhappy wish you had asked about the pull out bed.

There was no actual bedroom. 1 bed right in the main room and a sleeper sofa in the same room. 2 couples staying together would be awkward.

This cottage is an open floor plan, we have extensive pictures showing the boutique nature of what we designed and openly advertise as a couples retreat. We do always try to accommodate guests whenever possible you left and contacted us the next day.

Beautiful lakeside retreat

Amazing view. Clean and great amenities. Super responsive host. Built a bonfire, watched sunset and then the stars.

Anniversary getaway

The cottage was adorable and super clean! Daniel was quick and easy to correspond with. He lit us a fire to enjoy by the water each evening. Would highly recommend and we intend to return!

Timely escape

Everything was as advertised. We had just one day and enjoyed "unplugging". Info on local eateries was helpful. The winery meal was top notch. Turn key rental with a readily available host.

Clean, quaint and very peaceful however the bedding (mattress and pillows)were not very comfortable.

Very sorry you had discomfort on our mattress. It is a Nectar Luxe Hybrid the was $1,400 and is their top of the line model, that is less than 1 year old We have always received good reviews on it, but I understand it is a subjective experience thaf differs for each person.

Day trip

My wife wanted to get away for a day and we cane across the Gem. It was absolutely perfect for us. Right next to the water with and amazing view from the deck also. We got to watch the sunset. The room has so many different details that i was still discovering as we were leaving. Very nice, clean and stocked. Host was very easy to reach if needed, communication was perfect. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Waterfront property

Second floor room with a nice view of Lake Erie. Can sleep 4, but best for 2 people as it is open. There are 2 full bathrooms. Can sit outside on a spacious patio and watch the water. There is a fire pit down by the water, unfortunately we had a wet weekend and didn’t get to use it.
