A great location in downtown Macon within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and live entertainment yet more quiet than the center of town. Comes with two off-street parking spots directly in front of loft. Sister loft next door can be added for larger groups.

Unfortunately, the furnishings are very dated and it was dirty. The floors, boards and cabinets look like they haven’t been cleaned in quite sometime. Some of the furniture and the fan in the living room area were broken. This place really needs some attention and love from the owner.

Wonderful stay located within walking distance to the downtown area. It was a fairly quiet area.It was a comfortable, nice and roomy, place to spend a few days.

Overall it was a good place for what we needed, close walking distance to food. We had dogs so to anyone with dogs there are not a lot of places to walk your dog as far as grass is concerned around the apartment. The area is downtown Macon GA so it can be a bit sketchy especially at night. The apartment was exactly as I hoped on the inside very nice large open floor plan. Loved that it was dog friendly. It was neat and clean and no noise issues even though it was near downtown. It was relatively quiet at night. Limited parking or tight parking.

The photos do not show the charm of the loft. It is very quaint, with barn doors and very spacious bedrooms. Unfortunately we were only there 2 nights to sleep so did not utilize the kitchen, dining area etc.

Kitchen was fully equipped but I didn’t use their utensils once I saw that the place didn’t look like it had been cleaned by professionals. There was a large ball of lint on the floor under the desk. The furniture is very old and dated as if not much care was put into interior decoration. I used pillow case covers and my own towels. It seems like the host expects the guest to wash towers used, and do the cleaning. I don’t think it provided value for money. I would have been better off getting a hotel suite. Bathroom tub is very tight. For a spacious exciting there was only one full bathroom, and half bath downstairs. The TV had only one channel CBS, no Aps. I never received any response regarding the TV not having any other channels. Parking was convenient and safe.

We booked this place because it was pet friendly in a place close to a venue we were going to. I DO NOT recommend this spot. First, if you have dogs you walk there is an unhoused man living in the lane behind and I felt unsafe every time i left the house to walk my dogs. The key code given at check in did not work and we were delayed getting in while they sorted that. Later in the night when we were returning from our event we went to get in the door and alarms started going off and we called one of the people associated with this place and he said it sounded like the tamper alarm which leads me to think someone was trying to get in while we were gone. The bathtub had hair from the previous guest all in it. The walls are dirty and smudged. The fridge DOES NOT WORK. All the dishes were in the dishwasher but I don’t know if that means they are clean and I am not paying to stay here to empty someone else’s dishes. The cool couch from the listing photos and rug are no longer there and two of the light fixtures down stairs did not have bulbs and the one that did shocked me when I tried to turn it on. A couple of the dining room chairs are dangerously close to broken. The place needed a good sweeping- there was dead bugs in corners. We stayed two nights and the second night there was a large party having a party next door that was quite loud. The upstairs has no A/C vents so make sure you open the windows overlooking the living room or else it’s an oven up there. DO NOT RECOMMEND
