Excellent property - clean and modern with everything that you need

We have stayed at Sonoran Sun 10 times or more now and this unit was the cleanest and most modern unit that we have stayed in. The pull out couch was comfortable for our daughter and the unit had everything that we needed and more. Highly recommend.

Not premium, not well appointed. Not recommended

I’ve been to Rocky Point many times. I have stayed at all 4 Sonoran Resorts and at the Sun many times. I am VERY unhappy with this room. It's the worst I've seen in any of the Sandy Beach resorts. SAFETY: There’s a nail that pokes out at waist height in the guest bedroom wall. It injured my daughter’s hand. I told the management. They did NOTHING. Master Bedroom: • The blinds from the bedroom to the deck are broken • Bed linens are ratty. Batting pokes out from the comforter (stapled??? Really???), mattress pad is ripped. Living areas: • Pull out couch does not work • Table top is scarred • Bar has no stools • No mixing bowls • No spatulas. • Knife block has just two little knives • Serving utensils are seriously random. Guest bath has rust stains in bath tub We were given 2 keys. One did NOT work. Maintenance guy (same one who couldn’t fix the blinds and did nothing about the nail) took me to the front desk. No replacement. We’ve had ONE key for FOUR people for three days. Not okay. At check in, there was ONE towel. We’ve gotten more. I’ve asked repeatedly for • The 2nd key • Dish soap • Dishwasher detergent I went and bought the last two. But the key? Do I really have to go make my own copy? The keys don’t say “do not copy”, so in truth I could.

Great weekend vacation

We felt like the property was in great shape compared to other properties we have stayed at in the same region. We will definitely go back.

Run down

I loved the Sonoran sun and the staff was excellent but the property unit is run down....the bed was very uncomfortable ...did not sleep well....the dishwasher was broken the microwave door ready to fall off ....missing blinds and broken blinds....toilet handle loose had to keep putting it back on....patio chair ready to break.....to charge that much and have it that run down was very unimpressive.....disappointed
