We had an amazing two night stay. The property was very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. And most of all the views are breathtaking.. We will definitely recommend this property to others and we will visit again sometime soon.. Thor was an amazing host. Responded quickly to any questions that I had.

The fire alarms kept going off on the last day for an hour, the night before that they went off twice and scared us all awake at 3 am. Thor was very fast at replying and helpful stating this would be looked into. Definitely relaxing weekend away that we all needed. Make sure to screen shot directions and take note of WiFi because absolutely no cell service. Chairs by fireplace was a great place to listen and watch nature.

Great location! Couple notes1. There are no tv's so make sure you bring some entertainment (there were a couple board games and books)2. It is like glamping so enjoy a bit of the digital detox its worth it.Amenities were good and wife and i had a great time it was close to a lot of trails and not too far from walmarts and grocery stores.

Great Trip by the trees

We had a great trip! The property was very family friendly and the view was wonderful. We were comfortable and the communication with the host was definitely 5 stars!

Beautiful Cabin in the woods

Communication excellent from start to finish. Loved the cabin. Beds very comfortable. Location excellent and peaceful. Would stay there again

Payson/Pine retreat

If looking for a remote experience in a pine forest, then this property is a good choice. The home offers a beautiful view nestled amongst tall pines.

The place was clean and amenities were excellent. The full bed in the attic like is very tight and stairs leading are narrow. The place is secluded (nice) in the woods about 6 miles from a paved road. One thing should in the description that in the dirt road there 2 or 3 places that could be flooded if there was rain. Unfortunately we got caught in flash flooding and could not get through we had to wait couple hours to get through. So there no phone (LTE tower) connection as well to get any help. Please get any assistance or info before you get there as far as WIFI PW etc. But the place and the location are worth if you have 4x4 to get through the water and the dirt road.Even wine was provided but we don’t drink so did not help ourselves. Thank you for sharing with us your home.

Our stay at Norsk Haus was honestly next level. From the moment we walked in, you can tell every detail was intentionally designed—clean, modern, but still warm and inviting. It has that perfect luxury-meets-cozy vibe that makes you not want to leave. The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed (and then some). The attention to detail really stands out—this isn’t just a place to stay, it’s an experience. Whether you’re there to relax, unplug, or just enjoy a peaceful getaway, this place delivers. The atmosphere is quiet and private, which made it feel like our own little escape. It was the perfect weekend reset. We’ll 100% be back—and honestly, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something elevated, unique, and actually worth it.

The Norsk Haus is amazing! Such a wonderful setting to get away and relax. The house itself is so cool and fun. The outside space is gorgeous. Thor, the owner, is very good about communicating with you and updating you all along the way. We will be back!

We had an incredible stay at Norsk Haus! This beautifully designed modern home is tucked away in the pines, offering total peace and quiet in a stunning natural setting. The interior is sleek, spotless, and thoughtfully appointed—perfect for a relaxing getaway.Do note that the property is remote, about a 20-minute drive from the main road, with limited outdoor lighting—so arriving before dark is a good idea.The host was responsive and check-in was seamless. If you’re looking for a quiet, stylish escape with unique touches, Norsk Haus is it. We can’t wait to return!

I highly recommend this place,Thor is a great host and he made sure everything was ready for us. The house is pretty amazing, fresh, super clean and well equipped. It’s in a really cool neighborhood as you cannot see or hear much of your neighbors. The nights are amazing as you can stargazing from the patio. The beds are so comfortable we all had a great sleep. We really enjoyed the house and the Nordic feeling of it. The sauna was amazing and great after a day of hiking and enjoying the woods. We loved the location as it is far into the woods, just what we were looking for. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Thor!!

Super awesome cabin

Super awesome place. Great accommodations plenty of supplies. We didn’t have to bring any toiletries. We did bring them, but you didn’t need them. Everything was super clean and easy to use. The driveway was plenty big enough to park our trailer and unload our RZR. The kids had a blast in the cabin has a great layout if you got multiple families that are going to stay. Will definitely stay again.

Great Mountain Getaway

Beautiful home, responsive host, quiet retreat.The home is very quiet and nice. Location was exactly what we wanted for star gazing. Lamps, lamps, lamps would be my only suggestion. There is no mood lighting. It’s either, all overhead lights on in a room at full brightness or none. There are no lamps or dimmer switches to offer a dimmer, more relaxing option. Thats an easy fix :).Fabric softener would be nice as well. ;)We recommend the stay for tranquility for sure.
