Your Payson adventure begins at this cabin. Nestled in a rural area and within walking distance of the East Verde River that runs through the community, this amazing area offers a relaxing retreat for guests. Rim Country Museum and Myra's Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout and Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. With a true rustic cabin feel, Trout Creek Cabin features a king bed, queen bed, and a sofa bed, there's plenty of space for everyone. Other essentials provided include heating, AC, WiFi, fireplace, washer/dryer and kitchen essentials. The bathroom is well-equipped with dual sinks and shower/tub combo. Excellent Repeat Stay

We had another wonderful time at the Trout Cabin. We brought our dogs with us and they also enjoyed it! The place is very well kept up and taken care of. We love the location—about 15 minutes from Payson. The neighborhood is really cute and great for a morning walk! Highly recommend!

Loved this cute cabin. Had a great time hiking nearby and the unwinding when we got back to the cabin. Nice porch to have coffee on in the morning and see the animals. Cute little community. Everyone we ran into was very friendly. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Overall was a great time. Thank you!

Even better than last time. Sorry about leaving the potatoes in the microwave. I highly recommend heading to Washington Park for a hike. You will not be disappointed.

The BEST

I have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years all over the US and this one was amazing. I came in to Phoenix for the first time to visit a close friend who lives locally and she’s already talked about wanting to come back with her family. You can tell the owners care about their guest and really have taken the time to think about what might be helpful for their guests.

Great rustic getaway

Everything was clean and useful. Decorated beautifully and had all amenities you need for a mountain retreat. Pups loved the backyard and playground down the road. Great little community with lovely creek and trails.

4 generation annual mini-vacay. 74, 52, 21, 10 yr old and everyone enjoyed it! Very nice size, well maintained and furnished cabin, (easy on G-Ma) Short walk to creek, tranquil and peaceful, excellent for the younger guys to fish) The few people we did see were friendly. Were able to watch animals, squirrels, various birds, (entertaining and relaxing for the school teacher) Mostly stayed outside all day, walking, fishing, playing family games, good for everyone) Would definitely recommend this rental-only regret is that we didn't have more time!!

One of the best cabins ive stayed at!

And ive been to a lot. From luxury to very rustic. This one felt extra homey, clean, and cozy. It has everything you need. We very much enjoyed the finishing at the nearby river. We honestly wish we couldve had stayed longer. Until next time? Thank you again!

Great, quiet spot. Very detailed listing!

We received very detailed instructions and directions to the property. This was crucial, as the cabin is in a great location but not super easy to find without these directions. The property was very clean, with everything included exactly as it appeared in the listing. Quiet and cool evenings in late March. Exactly what we wanted, away from town, traffic, etc. Thank you!!!
