Your Payson adventure begins at this cabin. Nestled in a rural area and within walking distance of the East Verde River that runs through the community, this amazing area offers a relaxing retreat for guests. Rim Country Museum and Myra's Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout and Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching. With a true rustic cabin feel, Trout Creek Cabin features a king bed, queen bed, and a sofa bed, there's plenty of space for everyone. Other essentials provided include heating, AC, WiFi, fireplace, washer/dryer and kitchen essentials. The bathroom is well-equipped with dual sinks and shower/tub combo. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind in this tranquil retreat. We hope you enjoy what our place and Payson has to offer.

This place is so lovely. We were so relaxed. We did not want to leave. We also brought our pets and the fenced in yard let them explore without the leads. We loved the decoration, and all the special touches.

If we could give this place 10 stars, we absolutely would! Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped — you can tell the owners have put real care into making guests feel at home. The cabin’s décor was cute and cozy, giving it such a warm, inviting atmosphere.It was perfect for our dogs, too. We were a little nervous about bringing them at first, but we quickly felt completely comfortable. The area was quiet and peaceful, and we loved walking to both sides of the creek every day. The scenery behind the tennis court is simply picturesque — the kind of spot that makes you stop and take it all in.Our son had an amazing time as well, especially making s’mores over the fire pit in the evenings. It was such a special way to end each day.I really enjoyed the serenity. It was everything we hoped for and more — truly the ideal getaway for our whole family.

Excellent Repeat Stay

We had another wonderful time at the Trout Cabin. We brought our dogs with us and they also enjoyed it! The place is very well kept up and taken care of. We love the location—about 15 minutes from Payson. The neighborhood is really cute and great for a morning walk! Highly recommend!

Weekend getaway

Loved this cute cabin. Had a great time hiking nearby and the unwinding when we got back to the cabin. Nice porch to have coffee on in the morning and see the animals. Cute little community. Everyone we ran into was very friendly. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. Overall was a great time. Thank you!

Great rustic getaway

Everything was clean and useful. Decorated beautifully and had all amenities you need for a mountain retreat. Pups loved the backyard and playground down the road. Great little community with lovely creek and trails.

4 generation annual mini-vacay. 74, 52, 21, 10 yr old and everyone enjoyed it! Very nice size, well maintained and furnished cabin, (easy on G-Ma) Short walk to creek, tranquil and peaceful, excellent for the younger guys to fish) The few people we did see were friendly. Were able to watch animals, squirrels, various birds, (entertaining and relaxing for the school teacher) Mostly stayed outside all day, walking, fishing, playing family games, good for everyone) Would definitely recommend this rental-only regret is that we didn't have more time!!

Great, quiet spot. Very detailed listing!

We received very detailed instructions and directions to the property. This was crucial, as the cabin is in a great location but not super easy to find without these directions. The property was very clean, with everything included exactly as it appeared in the listing. Quiet and cool evenings in late March. Exactly what we wanted, away from town, traffic, etc. Thank you!!!

Loved our stay

Cabin and location was beautiful! The only suggestion I have is outside furniture could have been cleaner. I suggest having a cover for your sectional! It was very dusty and didn't use! It was awesome overall.

Fell in love again

This was our second time staying and we fell in love with this cabin again. It’s the perfect spot to build a fire and relax. We found an incredible spot for dinner named Duza’s. I have no idea how a place like this needed up in Payson, but it is outstanding. The yard at the cabin is perfect for our pups. We just love this for a quick getaway from the valley. We did some great hiking just down the road too. Thank you for having us again. We love this cabin!

2nd stay and will rent again!

Great place to just get away. Small little community not far from restaurants and hiking. Also very nice to be able to bring the dog because the property is fully fenced.

Great cabin in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay! Cabin is well equipped with more than just the essentials. Decor is very cute and accommodations very comfortable. Loved being able to walk to the river and the park every day with our dog. We would definitely consider staying at this cabin again.

Wonderful Cabin

The cabin is top notch and put together with a real touch of warmth. The location is quite. The cabin had everything we needed. Close enough to town to be convenient, yet far enough away to enjoy the woods, view, and wildlife. We will definitely stay there ne t time we are in the area.
