Weekend trip for a football game

Very clean and cozy. Easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Amazing location

Beautiful cottage in the foothills of rail and trails. Home was spacious and inviting with little extras.

Very Nice

So clean and comfortable! Host is great...this was our 2 nd stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Great little spot

Our stay was great. The property was exactly what we needed. It had ample parking for my truck and trailer. The neighbors are very nice. And being on the bike trail and foot steps away from the water was an added bonus for us.

It was just what we needed. We were in the area to watch our son play baseball with the Altoona Curve, and it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Being right on the Lower Trail was an added bonus that we used for some convenient exercise. We hope to stay there again!

Wonderful Trip!

Loved staying in the Bright carriage house. Perfect size for us and great location. Had everything we needed. Hosts were exceptional and went out of their way to accommodate us. If you are in the area, please consider this unit or the Ganister House next door. You will be hard pressed to find better accommodations!

Delgrosso trip

The property was very nice. My only complaint was the lack of sound proofing as i am a very light sleeper and I could hear everything no matter if I closed the bedroom door or not. We enjoyed our stay right next to the trail at the river.

The Carriage House is a more open design so we can understand it might not be ideal for light sleepers. We hope to welcome you back again soon, perhaps considering our sister property, Ganister House, as it is a stone farmhouse that is quite quiet!

One week stay

The carriage house seems to be newly renovated so everything was clean and there were plenty of towels and a fully stocked kitchen. The washer/dryer was not done being installed yet and we needed to do laundry but The hosts were very helpful and allowed us to use an alternate laundry unit on the property. The heating system is a bit confusing but we just used one of the small portable heaters and it warmed the whole unit quickly. The use of the bikes was an added bonus with the bike path right next to the property. Would definitely stay here again!

We were able to run the water line and vents to fully install the washer and dryer shortly after your departure. We have also included instructions to operate the mini split unit to reduce future confusion. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip!

Lovely property right on the Lower trail, we enjoyed walking there everyday and it was so quite and serene.
