Expansive Lake House/Private Dock/Stunning Views/Family & Pet Friendly

Guests will enjoy their stay with 3 floors of living space: the main floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom, open kitchen and living room with vaulted ceilings and custom stone fireplace. The upper level shares the natural light that floods in from the main floor in it's loft with a workspace desk, couch with fold out queen sized bed, books, games, etc. The master bedroom on this level has a balcony overlooking the lake and a full bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate oversized shower. The lower level has a bedroom with bunk beds and queen fold out bed/couch, full bathroom, laundry room, and family rec room with foosball, ping pong, X- Box 360 with video games, yoga equipment, and a selection of toys for younger children. There is a Pack and Play, high chair, and Bumbo for your use as well. Available to watch are: Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Apple TV and over 350 Live TV Chanels on Roku. The wrap around deck has a gas grill and table for outdoor dining. The lower level has a fire pit and the lake front has a private dock perfect for fishing, swimming, or taking out one of the 5 kayaks available for your use.
The summer months are magical here at the lake. Bring your bike and take a ride around the community's quiet and low traffic roads. Visit one of the 3 playgrounds (age 1-5 is best), 2 pools, private beach with BBQ pits, or any of the other amenities included for free with the wristbands provided with your stay. In the fall the Hudson valley transforms into a picturesque landscape perfect for a hike (so many just a short drive away), apple picking, pumpkin picking, farmers markets, and visiting local wineries or distilleries. Visit the slopes to ski or go tubing in the winter- Hunter and Windham mountains are a short 20 minute ride. Historic Hudson offers many casual and fine dining restaurants, antique shops, galleries, shopping, etc. The towns of Athens, Catskill, and Coxsackie are 5-15 minutes away for convenience stores, grocery shopping, liquor stores, restaurants, breweries/bars, bowling, and movie theaters. Sleepy Hollow Lake is a short 2 hour drive from NYC and 35 minute drive to Albany.

This is a quiet, family community. We ask that you treat our home, property, and neighbors as if they were their own. Pls be mindful of sound levels.
We respectfully ask you to please remove shoes inside the house as the floors are new. Shoe mats are provided at each entrance.
Sleepy Hollow is a great place to walk and bike. For safety, please be aware of the strictly enforced 20 MPH speed limit while driving on our roads.

The house was beautiful and clean, as well as decorated nicely ! Our family had a great weekend and enjoyed the provided amenities. Heather, our host, was very responsive and accommodating.

Great Family Vacay House

Beautiful and comfortable house for extended family to stay. Plenty of room to spread out, relax, and play. Enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and exploring the Hudson Valley area.

Perfect cabin getaway for a bachelorette weekend

We stayed at this cabin for a bachelorette weekend with a group of friends and had a very comfortable stay. Every room was clean, well-maintained, and spacious. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax without feeling cramped. The common areas were just as roomy and cozy, making it easy to hang out together. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, so we were able to cook meals together, and we loved using the fire pit to make s’mores. The only thing I would note is that the pillows in the main bedroom were a bit too firm for my liking so I wish I had brought my own. Overall, it’s a great place for a group stay and I would highly recommend it!

We had 3 generations enjoying our stay at the house for a week...ages 8 to 80! The kids enjoyed the pool and beach, and the grandparents (and the eight year old) the tennis courts. This is a nice lake to kayak on. We did some fishing off the docks with the kids catching numerous panfish. The house was comfortable and well stocked, and was a great place for all to gather.Much time was spent on the outside deck overlooking the lake having morning coffee, reading, having meals or hanging out together. The host left detailed instructions and responded quickly when contacted. A perfect place for multiple families to gather. Would highly recommend and are considering returning next year.

We enjoyed this lovely home where our family gathered comfortably in beautiful surroundings. The house was beautiful and well stocked (full kitchen, kayaks, nice ping-pong table, etc). The lake and pool were very accessible and enjoyable and the surrounding areas quite beautiful.Our host left great instructions and was accessible if we needed her though in fact we didn't. Highly recommend
