RiverRest - on Little Red River

Set directly on the Little Red River in the tiny but lively town of Pangburn, this spacious riverfront home is all about the water. One of its best features is something that's surprisingly hard to find along the river: direct wade-in access for trout fishing right from the property when river conditions allow.



Inside, this is a spacious, older river home with plenty of character and room for everyone to spread out. With four bedrooms, two separate living areas, and a large dining table, it's especially well suited for families and groups. The sunken den with fireplace is one of our favorite spaces in the house, while the king master bedroom offers an eye-level view straight out toward the river.



Spend your mornings fishing just steps from the house, relax by the water in the afternoon, and gather around the riverside fire pit in the evening. If you're bringing kayaks or planning a float, Dripping Springs public launch is conveniently located just across the river.



The home is located about 15–20 minutes from Heber Springs and Greers Ferry Lake, giving you easy access to restaurants, shopping, boat rentals, swimming, and plenty more to explore. It's also an easy 20 minute drive to Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.



Please note that this is an older home with some of the character and quirks that naturally come with its age. If you're looking for a newly built or luxury-modern property, this may not be the best fit, but if you want plenty of space, a comfortable place to gather, and an incredible setting directly on the Little Red River, this one is hard to beat.

IMPORTANT RIVER INFORMATION



~The Little Red River is extremely cold, even during the summer

~River levels can change quickly depending on dam generation

~Always check river conditions before entering or wading

~The river is generally not suitable for recreational swimming

~Greers Ferry Lake, about 15–20 minutes away, offers excellent swimming and boating



PETS



~Maximum of 3 dogs

~$85 flat pet fee for up to 3 dogs for the entire stay

~Please let us know if you're bringing dogs, as some booking platforms do not automatically include pets in the reservation

~Pets are not permitted on furniture; doggy sheets are provided if needed



SUPPLIES INCLUDED



~Bed, bath, and kitchen linens for number of guests

~Body soap, hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, basic cleaning products, and toilet paper

~Starter supplies (1–2 days, depending on use): paper towels, ground coffee + filters, sugar, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, salt, pepper, and cooking oil

~Bring your own toiletries like shampoo, toothpaste, etc.

~All properties are self check-in with a key code (check-in after 4 PM; check-out by 11 AM).
