Nice clean property. No AC but good ocean breeze. Internet not the best came in and out: walking distance to shops and restaurants. On site maintenance man was very helpful.

Right on the water beautiful view has everything you need beach chairs and so on which is very nice and handy parking is great you get your own garage which is awesome. Really enjoyed our stay we’ll be back again thanks for having us

Absolutely stunning views! The property was in a perfect location for the beach, food, and activities. The unit felt very safe. Glad to have a second parking spot, too. So charming! A real beach retreat!

We had a great time and the location on the beach was fantastic. Angel, the building supervisor was very helpful. My only complaint is that the WiFi was weak so for example I couldn’t stream anything. They booted the router twice but it did not really help. People should know that there were no staples in the kitchen except for salt and pepper and the kitchen did not have much in the way of pots and pans etc. Otherwise a great place.The thunderous sound of ocean waves is surprisingly soothing.

We stayed in this beach cottage the week following Labor Day, 2026. We booked it from Tuesday till Saturday, September 8-12, 2026The weather was extremely hot, in the 90s with very high humidity, which we recognize is beyond the control of the owner. However, there is no air conditioning, which they do not mention on their site, and although the manager brought us two fans, there are also no screen on the windows or doors, which meant there were bugs and sand (which blew in at high tide) in the cottage. In addition to the bugs that flew in, there were ants in the sofa and in the bathroom. The shades on the windows, which might have helped with the heat from the sun, are broken and do not operate properly and so we couldn’t even utilize them to keep some of the heat out. The cottage has been painted over the decades but not really kept in good condition. The original oak wood floors are in need of refinishing as half of the finish is goneThe chairs at the dining table have been repaired but are still rickety and one of the chairs we sat in, swayed considerably and almost collapsedThere is also no dishwasher and many of the dishes were dirty when we took them out of the cupboards and drawersAll in all, it became intolerable and we had to leave a day earlier on Friday rather than Saturday This is an expensive cottage at the beach and really does not meet the standards that we have come to expect as VRBO members

This oceanfront cottage on carbon beach does not advertise AC or dishwasher. Unfortunately, the guests did not look to see if we offered these amenities. This guest through the stay did not inform us of any needs or desires. We are more than happy to accommodate requests. Host, Angel, was so great! He greeted us and made sure we knew how to contact him if we needed anything. The reason for a good and not excellent rating was the parking. It was very small for a SUV and the garages were so narrow you could barely get out of the car.Loved the location and ease of checking in and out.

We are glad to know she loved her experience in our unit Stingray. Our property is fortunate to be able to have free gated garage parking for our guests. Great seafront location; saw dolphins from the balcony several times! Great friendly caretaker too.Just be aware there is no AC so we found it warm at night as you cant open the windows as bedrooms backs on to the busy road

There is no AC because it's usually not needed on the oceanfront. We encourage opening the windows to enjoy the ocean breeze and the sounds of waves. The only road near our property is Pacific Coast Highway and during the night is not busy. Malibu Beach Rental Properties

Nothing soothes my soul more then the sound of ocean waves slapping the shore. Stingray has it all! Stunning ocean views day and night, abundant sea life, relaxing walks in the beach. For those who just need to tear themselves away from the beautiful view from the deck, there’s shopping, dining, history and adventure, all within walking distance. I can’t wait to come back. I love it here!

Short break at the beach

Walking distance to lots of shopping. Dining and beaches. If you are a light sleeper, bring white noise or earplugs and the ocean waves are very close.
