The cabin is beautiful as well as everything outdoors. The fire pit was very nice and the place very clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable for us as well as some noise at night since the host was staying upstairs , but other than that it was great.

This was a great place for my husband and I to stay. We went kayaking nearby and were greeted with fresh baked bread when we checked in. The place was clean and the host was responsive to questions. After dinner, we had a nice walk in nature on the private 1/4 mile walking trail.

A very relaxing atmosphere in the country but with all of the comforts a person could want. Close to town yet remote in the woods. It was the perfect location to relax. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband used this property for his annual "alone weekend" and it did not disappoint! It was so quiet and peaceful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with all the things he needed. The host had great communication during my husband's stay. A few things we now know is 1) the closest Walmart isn't a Super Walmart, so my husband had to go to Mace Market to get his groceries. 2) a Kitchenette doesn't include an oven, but it was No big deal. My husband would definitely stay here again.

Nature Trip with the Family

Weekend Respite

This was a great "cabin" like feel for our getaway. We love nature and the woods behind and the sunrise coming up in the morning behind the trees was just amazing! We appreciated all the amenities and homemade bread. Very easy access to Meramec Springs which is where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed our stay!
