Great Beach House

Great place for active families

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved being close to beach access, but it is a bit of a walk through the dunes to get there. Kitchen well stocked and appliances were new and easy to use. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck with lots of chairs and tables outside. Manzanita is a great little town, not as touristy as Cannon Beach and close to some great hikes.

Really enjoyed my stay. The property manager was super helpful. They went above and beyond in my opinion. The amount of money I saved paid for golf and dinner +. So book direct. I dealt with Jeffie, couldn’t be happier great times.

Great house, close to beach, fully stocked

We were only there a couple of days, but the house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space. We didn’t do much cooking but I do like it when houses we rent are fully stocked, which this one was. The place was clean and easily accessible too. The ONLY complaint that I have, and this isn’t specific to this house but most places these days, is the check-out time. It is unduly early, and granted we pushed it, and there were no cleaners knocking at the door, so why not just give us that extra time? It can be in case by case basis based on whether the place is booked the next day. Just a note to this and any other host reading this.

For any future stays with us at Sunset to Sunset Vacation Rentals, please know that if you call us the day prior to departure and ask for a late check out, we will always do our best to accommodate you in the off season when the house is not booked behind you. Our cleaning is contracted to a cleaning company so we need to be able to give them 24 hours' notice for a late check out. Early check out times are due to our area having a labor shortage so many times the cleaners have multiple homes in one day. We look forward to helping you plan your next stay at the beach.

Good but not great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in a good location but the code didn't work. We had to get maintenance to come out. They were quick but after the drive and how hot it was, made the start a bit rough. Not the most kid friendly house because there isn't a good open space to play inside and a very sharp fireplace. Could use more fans for the summer because it got extremely hot upstairs so we spent more time in the downstairs bedrooms where it was cooler.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for a week with our two young kids and couldn't have been happier. The house is just a short walk to a gorgeous part of the beach. It was perfect for our kids to play in the water and sand, skim board, fly Kites, or just hang out. We were a short drive from wonderful places to hike and explore tide pools or go to a nice restaurant. Manzanita was definitely our speed- we could go get coffee or explore cute shops but it was nothing close to as busy and congested as places like Cannon Beach. People were really friendly, too.The house was also great for us. It was well stocked, comfortable and plenty spacious for the four of us. Would definitely recommend!
