Our new favorite place to stay in Manzanita/Neahkahnie

My family loves to come to Manzanita every summer and this house has become our default destination. Close to the beach and enough of a view to enjoy sitting and watching the ocean on a rainy day.

The Perfect Weekend

This was a great house for our family. It had all the amenities we needed and it was in a perfect location. The great room layout was perfect for family activities: cooking, games, visiting, etc.

This house is a perfect place for you stay in Manzanita! The large windows make a bright space to watch the ocean. The quiet neighborhood is also a plus! Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay at Manzanita

Absolutely loved this property. Location is fantastic, very short walk to beach right at base of Neahakanie (sp?) mountain. Very tastefully decorated house. Owner very easy to work with. No surprises, just a great property and trip

Great Family Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfwatcher. We had a family vacation with our adult children and we were thrilled with the size of the communal space to visit and cook meals. Manzanita is a beautiful town and we loved walking into town. Mike is great host!

Family get away

Property was perfect for our 3 generation family get together. Kitchen was well equipped and large enough for three cooks! Lots of beds to choose from. Beach was amazingly close and easy to access. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic time at the house. Beautiful location. House is clean and well-equipped. And mike was a great host as he worked with us when we had schedule issues. We had a great time and we would gladly go back.

Great stay

Really nice property, great location across the street from the beach. We were happy with how well appointed the house was. Beds were clean and comfortable. The home gets warm with the afternoon sun but there are lots of fans provided which made it comfortable. Thank you for a great stay.

Best place on Nehalem Bay

The house is laid out very well for families with 3 generations. Laundry room right from back door. All the rooms are nice size. We enjoyed Nehalem beach so much every day and watched the sunsets from there. We walked into Manzanita on the beach for coffee and pastries in the mornings. So close to great state parks, beaches, crabbing, hiking. The best

Very nice property, great kitchen for cooking. We also appreciated that it was relatively child-proofed (minimal glass/breakable decorations) so we were able to relax with our 2-year old daughter. Beach is super close and very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend at the coast!

Great place to stay for an extended weekend visit in Manzanita at the coast. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We are looking forward to another visit when in the area.

Surfwatcher Beach House Fun

The Surfwatcher is a great beach house about a 100 yard walk from the beach at Manzanita. A perfect house for our group of 6 including 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 young grandchildren (ages 8 and 5). The was well equipped, and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Cannon Beach is about a 20 minute drive north with Haystack Rock and lots of restaurants. Several nice beaches between the house and Cannon Beach. Lots of fun places to go and enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely try to stay at the Surfwatcher again.
