Bucket List Visit

Salem was on my husband's bucket list of places to visit. We found this affordable and cute apartment, conveniently located. It was cozy and just what we needed for this visit. The owner was super communicable and kind. Best overall experience we've had, between VRBO and other equivalent sites.

Very cute little apartment

The host seemed to have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Very nice, clean, quiet neighborhood to enjoy local life in Salem and not be in the middle of all the Oct crowd but still close enough to walk to everything you want to see. We enjoyed staying here very much with no complaints.

We had a great stay!

We had a great 24 hours here to explore a little of Salem! The hosts provided a bunch of snacks and the beds were comfortable. Location is close to the main areas. We walked there but decided to Uber back at night because it ended up being a little farther than what we wanted. Bringing 6 suitcases up the narrow stairs was a challenge but doable.

Great rental property

The stay was great! We didn't rent a car for the stay and the walk to downtown Salem was only 20 minutes. The host even had a basket full of snacks and an easy dinner. Very generous!

Perfect short stay in Salem

Ari was a fantastic host. Very communicative, understanding and flexible. The place was ideal for a short stay and the provisions they provided was such a thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent property!

Ari was the best host! The rental was great and easy to get in. It is also in a great location between pioneer vilage and downtown (if you do not mind walking). We really enjoyed our state and had no issues with two little kids. We will definitely come back!

Comfort, spacious, and clean

This place was great. Super clean, beds were very comfortable, and the location was excellent. It's just as it looks in the pictures, but bigger. The neighbourhood is charming, and just a 15-20 minute walk to all the downtown attractions. The host was very responsive, and left some snacks and beverages for us, which was super nice. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing stay in Salem

We had a wonderful time in Salem. Ari’s property was clean, roomy and so very close to all the things we wanted to see in Salem. We walked everywhere. Loved the touches that Ari left for us from pasta, drinks, fresh fruit and so much more. Would highly recommend this property and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we come back!! Ari was highly communicative throughout the process and sets a wonderful example of what a host should be like!! Thanks again!!

Great place to stay in Salem

Really enjoyed the apartment great location about 20 min easy walk to downtown and a block from the waterfront the host was friendly and even had the kitchen stocked with food and drinks would definitely recommend and will stay again when we go back to salem

On our way to Maine

While on our way to Maine, we decided to stop in Salem for the day. Our VRBO host was most excellent. She communicated with us throughout the whole process. The neighborhood is a little bit farther out than what I had desired, but it was still workable for sure. Everything was very clean and sanitary. She had a welcome basket with waters pasta and sauce, which was very nice also a bowl of fresh fruit. the only thing that I did not like and perhaps I missed it in the listing was this apartment was on the third floor. Very very steep steps for someone who is a senior like myself. It was hard to carry luggage up and down. there is no offstreet parking, which I prefer. However, we were able to get a spot across and up the street a bit. Overall it’s a beautiful property inside and very welcoming

Awesome spot

Great property with a very responsive owner! We were able to get in early to decorate for a surprise engagement and the owner worked with us to accommodate access. Residence was clean, comfortable, and close to Salem. Definitely will stay again if we travel to the area!

Clean, quiet, comfortable.

Loved our stay in Salem! The street was quiet and quaint. It was beautiful getting to see the ocean right outside the property! The stairs were very steep, but that wasn't a problem for us at all. If we are back in Salem, we'll stay here!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The owner was responsive and answered questions quickly. The apartment itself is a third-floor walk up (stairs were steep and a little challenging for two 70 year old ladies. (Glad we just had backpacks!) The corridor leading up is in need of a major update. However, once you enter the apartment, it is modern, clean, and well-equipped. The owner pays a lot attention to details..snacks, water, Keurig coffee maker and pods (might add a couple of decaf pods, although I may have just missed seeing them), shampoo and more. I was pleased to find a charging station next to the bed for 4 items. Just a couple of suggestions. A bedside lamp for the second bedroom, rather than just an overhead. And some lamps in the living room, rather than just the overhead. The air conditioners were welcome. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great spot 20 min walk from downtown

Visiting Salem for a friend's wedding and we found this listing. The place was clean, bright and thoughtfully stocked. Just twenty minutes from downtown Salem, we chose to walk in, but there was a close mbta bus route. We never needed a car. Highly recommend for a trip to beautiful Salem.

Convenient, simple, well-appointed

We needed a place that had two bedrooms for a long weekend in Salem and this apartment proved to be perfect. Very clean top floor in an older building that is under a little renovation in the hallway. It's unfussy, well-appointed and comfortable and is a great landing pad for having a place to spend the night and spend your day exploring Salem. We appreciated the thought and care that went into the details of what was provided (extra water bottles and beverages, snacks provided, luxurious towels, comfortable mattresses). Thank you for a nice stay!
