The Space
Escape to our updated log-style retreat, where modern comfort meets rustic charm. This two-bedroom home is the perfect getaway for up to four guests, offering a serene setting just moments from the water.
Inside, the living room is bathed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Relax after a day of exploring with high-speed internet, cable TV, and Smart TVs. The remodeled, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for your cooking and baking needs, and a washer and dryer are available for your convenience. The home features two comfortable bedrooms—one with a king-size bed and one with a queen-size bed—and a collection of games and puzzles for cozy nights in.
Step outside onto the spacious deck, complete with outdoor dining furniture and a gas grill for cookouts. In the evening, gather around the fire pit in the large backyard to roast s'mores under the stars.
Guest Access
You will have private access to the entire main house and its large deck. Parking is available for up to two vehicles. The spacious backyard and fire pit area are shared with guests staying in the adjacent duplex.
The Neighborhood
Your getaway is perfectly located just a one-block stroll from the beautiful bay, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. Our waterfront-adjacent location puts you within easy walking distance of local favorites, including Wilson’s Ice Cream, Anderson’s Dock, and traditional fish boils at the Old Post Office Inn.
Getting Around
The best of the village is easily accessible on foot. For exploring further afield, parking for up to two cars is provided on the property.
House Rules
To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please observe the following rules:
* No smoking is allowed on the property.
* Sorry, no pets are permitted.
* The loft and its ladder are not for guest use. Please do not climb, move, or take down the ladder.
* The indoor wood-burning stove is not operational and is for decorative purposes only.
*. To preserve the peaceful ambiance, loud parties and events are not allowed.
Important Information:
Property Access: Please be aware that access to the main house requires climbing several flights of stairs.
Shared Spaces: The large backyard and fire pit may be shared with guests from the adjacent duplex. If you are interested in renting the entire property (main house + duplex), accommodating up to 10 guests and perfect for family reunions and friend getaways, please contact us for availability.
Security: For your peace of mind, an external security camera is located on the property. It records both video and audio 24/7 with motion detection and overlooks the parking area and yard. Any tampering with the camera will result in immediate eviction with no refunds given
Seasonal Amenities: The gas grill on the deck is available for your use from April through October.
What We Provide: We supply bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. We also provide a starter pack of essentials, including toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, and garbage bags, along with travel-sized toiletries for each bathroom.
What to Bring: Please bring your own beach towels, firewood for the fire pit, and any cooking essentials you may need, such as oil, salt, pepper, and spices.
Booking Requirements: A signed rental agreement and a refundable security deposit are required prior to check-in.
Pantry Items: Due to health and safety guidelines, all pantry items are removed between guests. Please bring your own cooking essentials, such as oil, spices, and sugar.
Fire Pit: Guests must bring their own firewood for the fire pit.
