Dancing Volcano Estate - sleeps 8 Near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Dancing Volcano Estate in Volcano, Hawaii is a fantastic place to stay and visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park just a few minutes drive from our property. Our main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, large dining area, large living area with SMART TV, Free WiFi, and a large covered lanai (patio) and sleeps 6. The guest cottage, which you are also renting, sleeps 2 in the adorable Studio, Dancing Bamboo. The house and cottage are fairly close in proximity but have no shared space other than the parking area.

Main House: The luxurious living room is perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing with an L-shaped leather sofa, TV, games and books. The kitchen has everything you could need to prepare those scrumptious island meals. The stunning outdoor lanai is one of the highlights of the home, featuring a formal dining area and lounge chairs for relaxing in the shade while enjoying the peace and quiet this area offers.

Our main bedroom features a King sized bed, walk-in closet, and full ensuite bathroom with walk-in tiled shower. There are 2 more exquisite guest bedrooms; one bedroom has 2 twin beds, and the other has a queen. These two bedrooms are on the opposite side of the living area from the main bedroom for privacy and the use of the second full bathroom. The second bathroom has a full sized washer and dryer for your use.

We provide beautiful bedding, extra blankets and there are heaters in each room. It can get quite chilly at 3500' elevation!

Studio Cottage: the quaint Bamboo Cottage sits a few steps from the main house and boasts a king sized bed, small TV, and WiFi for streaming. The cottage kitchenette has a microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The large bathroom features a walk-in shower. There are two comfortable seats plus a small table and two additional chairs in this 400 square foot cottage. There is even a covered lanai with two chairs looking out over the bamboo forest - enjoy!

Great place for a group, super close to Volcano National Park entrance. Everything was clean, beds were comfy, had plenty of towels. We also liked that there were cards / games available to play. Would highly recommend for a larger group or family.

We had a group of eight for three nights and it was a great stay. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space. The setting is very peaceful and everyone loved spending time at the house. The location is great, just a few minutes from Hawaii Volcanos National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Quaint House Near the Park

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family of 7 and this house was perfect for our weekend. It is quaint and has plenty of room for folks to spread out. In the main house: There is a main bedroom with a King bed and en suite bath, a bedroom with two twins and a bedroom with a queen bed that share a large bathroom. There is also a separate cottage with its own bedroom, bath and small kitchen. Be sure to stop for groceries in Hilo though...

This property was super-clean and very spacious. Everyone enjoyed being able to spread out and have their own space. We cooked dinner and then ate and played games at the large tables every night. The little cottage is such a great space! The only negatives to this property are completely out of the home owner's control. The frogs chirp incessantly in the evening/early night, the next door rooster wakes you up before 5 AM every day, the house is a bit humid, making the bed sheets feel damp, and the dirt road you have to drive on for the last 1/2 mile or so is pretty bad. If you go super-slow, you can avoid most potholes. Even with that being said, this house deserves an "Excellent" rating.

Loved the outside guest cottage

We enjoyed our time at this house. My husband and I stayed in the guest cottage while the rest of the family stayed in the main house. It was nice to be away from everyone. The road getting to the house was much more rough than expected.

Volcano Forest

Beautiful house! The layout was fantastic for our extended family to stay while visiting my parents. It felt like an oasis at the end of the day. Loved the decor, especially having been to Japan previously. Highly recommended!

Located very close to Volcanoes Natl Park- 10 min drive or less. The house is BEAUTIFUL and spacious. Very clean. At night, the frogs sing you to sleep! We were a group of 7 and we were very comfortable.We used the propane grill on the lanai to prepare dinner for our group. The kitchen is well-equipped. But probably the thing we liked most was how amazing the management company was! We unfortunately were visiting during a tropical storm, and had many questions before we arrived. The managers were VERY responsive via text and email before and during our stay. They even showed up in MINUTES after we requested some trimming of the bamboo next to the cottage. We will return!

Fabulous Property for a Family Get Vacation

The property is well maintained and the kitchen is well equipped. with virtually no ambient light the view of the stars is breathtaking and the home is in close proximity to Volcanos National Park. Communication with the owners is outstanding. Not only would I recommend this property without hesitation to my friends, I look forward to staying here again in the future. A true hidden gem.

Rainforest

My husband and I honeymooned on the Big Island in 2000 and we decided to come back for our 25th anniversary. We brought our 3 kids and my parents along as well. This property was perfect for our party of 7. The little cottage was a great retreat for me and my husband. My parents enjoyed the main master suite. My girls shared the twin beds and my son had his own room. Plenty of space for all of us. Kitchen rather well equipped. Thankful for the washer dryer and extra beach towels. We booked this property before the volcano started erupting. Sadly it decided to blow as we were headed back to the airport to leave! Driving up and down the mountain was a little more driving than we expected as we explored the island. But the rainforest was definitely a different experience. Nice and cool. Different sounds. Amazing foliage. If you’re looking for a non-coastal place to stay, this is it.

Awesome property and location! Minutes from the Volcano National Park and just gorgeous scenery. The drive to the location is a little rough, but manageable. Just be careful for large potholes. Excellent stay!
