This stunning retreat with a unique reverse floor plan, offers ocean and golf course views from the upper level.
Channel your inner chef in the gourmet kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, luxurious marble countertops, an electric cooktop, subway tile backsplash, and custom cabinets, making meal preparation a joy.
Relax in the chic dining area and living space with several seating options and a large Smart TV. Step outside to the spacious deck, where panoramic views create an unforgettable backdrop for relaxation and fun.
Rest in the four inviting bedrooms on the lower level, including two primary King rooms with ensuite bathrooms along with a Queen room and a Bunk Room featuring a lower queen and upper twin. These rooms share a full hallway bathroom.
The house comes equipped with beach chairs, assorted beach toys and games for kids of all ages.
There is a propane grill for your grilling needs.
The home has two four-seater golf carts to transport you around the island.
Option for BOTH Shoals Club and/or Bald Head Island Club memberships - separate price(s).
Two outdoor video cameras monitor the exterior of the home. Footage remains private and in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas.

June 2024 - 10/10 Dream Vacation Home!
We’ve had the pleasure of staying at this property for our yearly family vacation over the last few years and it never disappoints! The home is furnished beautifully and always spotless. Multiple rooms to choose from with sleeping arrangements for infants and young children. It is a short golf cart drive to the Bald Head Island Club and when we want to switch it up and spend the days at the Shoals Club, we get to enjoy a beautiful scenic drive around the coastline. The hosts are always responsive and check in to make sure things are going well. Can’t wait to return again next summer!

The home was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. Good views on great porches. Very comfortable beds! Golf carts worked well and garage had lots of fun and useful things. Great host that took care of us well. Excellent stay overall!

We stayed a week here and the house was perfect. Incredibly clean and in an ideal location (close to BHI club, market). House was also well stocked with chairs and beach equipment. Communication from hosts was outstanding. Super responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

A wonderful time with friends catching up.
We and our friends are frequent visitors to Bald Head and when I searched for a home that fit our needs, lots of conversation opportunities and a big kitchen were " a must". With this property both of these references were well met.

absolutely beautiful!
This is a spectacular home. The home is appointed with comfortable furniture and is spotless! The roomy porches provide such relaxing times sitting outside. Communication with the host is instantaneous and check in was a breeze. We will definitely make this our go to house on Bald Head.

GREAT Idea House!
This property is beautiful and very well-equipped. We had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing vacation. There are 2 nice golf carts, plenty of beach chairs & umbrellas. Lots of time was spent on the porches, even advantage of a few naps on the hammock. We will definitely rent this house again!

PERFECT LOCATION!
We had the best time on BHI and this home was perfect in every way! The house is perfectly located- equal distances to the market, marina, beach & BHI club. The house was stocked with everything we could ever need. We had an issue with one of the golf carts and Edie responded immediately and took care of it. We plan to go back to BHI again and would definitely stay in this house!

Welcomed new property to the market!
We had a wonderful stay at Good Idea House! Well maintained with ample kitchen applications and utensils. Loved the large porch for dining and coffee with the fresh breeze. Kids enjoyed the beach gear, game cabinet and ping pong table. Carts and beach chairs were great. Thank you for sharing your home!

I recently spent a week at the Good Idea with my wife, 3 children and spouses and our granddaughter. It was a perfect setup for us and we had a wonderful time. Communication with the owner's reps was fast and easy. The main floor had many options for gathering in small groups or with the whole family. The location on the island seemed remote yet it was minutes from the marina, the club and multiple beaches.I would recommend this house and BHI to anyone looking for a beautiful beach getaway with many options for things to do, places to eat and a friendly island culture.
