My wife and I have been vacationing yearly in Ormond Beach. This is the first time we’ve stayed at this condo but the second time in this particular building. Hands down this has been the best condo we’ve stayed in! The most comfortable furniture, most comfortable beds, plenty of towels and linens, clean and of course the gorgeous ocean front view with comfy outdoor furniture. Easy check in and check out! We love this particular building because of how well maintained the pool area is compared to others. We were shocked to see some of the comments in other reviews which are the polar opposite of how we feel. If you’ve had experience staying in other condos, you’d definitely appreciate that this condo is top tier! Can’t wait to make our way back at the end of the year!

Very good

Enjoyed our stay very much! Neat, clean, friendly place.Well furnished. Great location! Beautiful beach, good restaurants all around.

Amazing Christmas Trip

This was an amazing trip, our host kept in contact with us making sure everything was going well and if we needed anything! Property looked just like the photos advertised and even more! There was a little construction being done but that didn’t interrupt with our stay! We will most definitely be booking here again!

Nice Place

Very nice. It is a lot darker inside than the pictures show. The 7th floor view was spectacular. It was clean and met all my needs except the pool was closed for 2 weeks during the warmest part of my stay. Was only able to use it once. The condo is close to everything and on a nice, quiet beach. I would stay there again.

Yes, we had the brief pool project information included in the listing description when you booked. It was getting resurfaced while it was cold outside anyway. It has since reopened.

I can understand why there hasn’t been any reviews on this property. While the condo itself was nice once you stepped outside it was like every move you made was scrutinized. The pool was very nice but the water was so cold no one got in it. We checked in on Saturday and didn’t even attempted getting in the pool until Monday. There was one person, my husband and myself sitting around the pool. I had brought a float down so I decided to get in and read my book. Within five minutes a woman came outside and said floats were not allowed. Again I’m 73 and no one else was in the pool. When I got out a couple with their granddaughter said you have to love the pool police. They said the owners sit on their balconies and call management. There was an older woman who came out every day and exercised for an hour. We believe she was the pool police. On Thursday afternoon a young couple came out with their baby. The water had warmed enough that it was tolerable. They got in the pool and then the wife got out. The husband asked the wife to get him a drink. She got a drink and sat it down on the ledge so her husband could reach it. Within 15 seconds that woman yelled to them that drinks were not allowed on the ledge. The husband looked at me while his wife retrieved the drink and said we weren’t going to leave it there. I just wanted a drink. The beach was covered in seaweed the entire time. It stunk!! This was not anyone’s fault but I’m not sure why the county didn’t cleanup at least once

We were very sorry to see your review and also found some of your concerns unreasonable. We've never had feedback about Aquarius being overly strict and we manage multiple condos in the building. It's true that absolutely no condos in the area allow floats or drink in the pool. It's a very common rule and it's posted. No one said any thing rudely to you, as you noted, they just reminded you of the rules. The pool is not heated and we never list is being heated or a heated pool as an amenity so we find it unfair that you would reduce your rating because of a feature that is not even included. To then complain about seaweed on a beach not being cleaned up is beyond unreasonable. Seaweed is a natural occurence on any beach and would never be "cleaned up" and it is nature's way of prevent beach erosion, a food source for birds, and natural fertizilier for the sand dunes. You also mentioned that the condo was lovely. You were the first review because we only just started managing this condo and not for any negative reason as you alluded to. We hope other guests see this review and the response and realize we provided the guest everything as promised.

Nice condo. Poor customer service

We arrived to the condo at 4pm to check in and the room was not ready and the cleaning person was still in the room. The directions for checking in state not to park in the top lot to unpack our car and to pull into the parking garage. The problem with that is that the garage is locked and can only be opened by a remote that is in the condo so not very convenient. Also the property had some sort of sewage pipe issue that was not disclosed to us prior to us checking in and the area next to the pools and the parking garage and ground level smelled of sewage our entire stay. We chose to not complain because we knew the situation could not be remedied during our stay so we chose to make the best out of our situation. But when my daughter accidentally left her phone in the condo they refused to waive the $50 shipping and packaging fee for us even though our stay was affected by the sewage smell. When I brought that to their attention they said we made no formal complaint so there was nothing they were going to do. I would never return to this place.

We have guests go to the condo complex to retrieve their remotes from within the unit as it's more convenient than driving 30 minutes to our office. We are not aware of any sewage issue at the complex and have not noticed anything prior to or since your reservation. We simply informed you of the shipping fee which includes our staff driving to the post office, packaging the item, and the actual cost of shipping so it's very reasonable. You did not bring forward any concerns to us until we notified you of the charge for shipping lost and found items. We feel your review s in retaliation for our very reasonable shipping cost.
