Captain's Cove. Cozy cabin in the Village of Shaver Lake. Pet friendly!

Come enjoy a wonderful family cabin located in walking the village of Shaver Lake and only two miles from the lake itself. This cabin has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating 12 people. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor for the convenience of those who have difficulty climbing stairs. Each bedroom and living room has a smart T.V. with WiFi so you can enjoy your favorite streaming channels. Dogs are welcome, this cabin has a dog run and is located within walking distance of many local trails to enjoy with your four legged friend. There is plenty of parking that is deep enough for a boat and trailer. Come and enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Wilderness located only 55 minutes from Fresno and only 90 minutes from Yosemite National Park.

The cabin met our needs, in particular the outdoor seating areas was especially appreciated. The cabin had ac which is a must in a 2 story cabin, our upstairs guests appreciated that. The cabin was well appointed, comfortable beds in all rooms and excellent appliances in the kitchen.

Comfy Beds! Enough kitchen utensils to feed a small army. Centrally located, with short walks to everything you need. Dogs were very comfortable with their surroundings. Living room feels bigger than the VRBO pics. Highly enjoyable long holiday weekend. Would definitely stay here again. Many thanks to owner Dana.

Great for families

This was a perfect cabin for a shaver getaway! It was close to some restaurants and the lake! Also I loved the gates in backyard space to take my dog to go potty.

Great Location and Property

It was the perfect spot. Close to town and an easy drive to the ski resort. Multiple bedrooms worked perfectly for 3 couples to have their own space. Highly recommend.
