I am very happy to give this stay a very positive rate of 4.5 stars. The only negative for me was the shower floor was slick and there were no handrails in the shower and or the front porch. Please know, I was there to recooporate from spinal fushion in my neck. This cottage was actually way more comfortable and nice than my own home!!! Great place to stay!

The location was perfect since it's down the road from the Texas Old Town venues. I loved the outside and the structure is cute and efficient. Everything was clean and fresh and the bedroom was comfy cozy for good rest.

Very cute & cozy getaway!

It was the perfect getaway for 2! The area was amazing and very quiet but not far from anything we wanted to do. Would definitely book again!

Cozy Cabin!

We stayed for two nights, just two of us. Location was great, close to shopping and restaurants. Overall, a quiet home off the main road. The bed was comfy, loved all the natural lighting and the full size kitchen!

This was one of the worst listings I've ever stayed at. The walls, floorboards, and vents were extremely dirty. The wall adjacent to the shower had chipped paint from water splashing out, which also likely created mold buildup. Within the first few days, large cockroaches appeared. I've stayed in Hill Country multiple times for months at a time for work, so I am very familiar with the local bug population and the occurrence of bugs in the house during the summer. However, the prevalence of the roaches, even after an exterminator was called, was unacceptable. Mike did respond immediately to the issue, which was appreciated, but he never checked back in on the situation, or he would have known the amount of dead roaches I was cleaning up after the fact.Additionally, nowhere in the listing did it say the cottage shared the property with another, larger listing. Had I known, I would have reconsidered my stay, especially given the proximity and my status as a lone woman traveler. During my stay, 3 different groups stayed at the other property with numerous vehicles and people—the house seemed to be a party house for young 20-somethings. I came back from work late on the 4th of July evening to drunk college-aged kids' cars taking up the only parking spot for this listing and nearly the entirety of the dirt driveway. I would not recommend this listing.
