The private road in to the property is a bit like a roller coaster! I strongly suggest getting there before dark. The place is beautiful and delightfully quiet and private. Lovely to hang out and have a hot tub.

Beautiful view from #2 property and very pleasant deck. Comfortable bed. Hot tub easy to access. Pet friendly. Mini fridge and microwave. Relaxing and rural feel.

Check in was very easy and the spot was truly unique and beautiful. There was a lot of privacy but the hosts were quite available if we had questions, etc.

The view from the back porch is great. It’s nice and quiet which is why we wanted to stay here. They have a nice sauna and ice bath area with a hot tub as well. Very pleasant and easy stay.

Nice host, clean, and cozy. The dark jungle, bird songs, and even frog noises were a special experience you can never feel in the city.

We stayed here after backpacking, and it was the perfect place in the area to stay the night. The sauna was very nice and everything was clean. I would recommend driving to and from during the day if you are not used to windy roads. Would stay here again!

Stunning views, wonderful outdoor spa, and a lovely room. Only issue was a lot of pet hair everywhere. We don't have an animal, but the space seemed obviously pet friendly.

Tranquil property surrounded by nature

The property is nestled into a tranquil hillside surrounded by trees and wildlife with easy access to hiking trails and adorable nearby towns with great places to eat. The unit we stayed in was clean and well-appointed and extremely comfortable. The spa area is shared but we never encountered others. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Perched on a Mountain

I so appreciated the quiet and the views. The space helped hold on to quietude after having ended a meditation retreat. The hosts were accessible, helpful and warm.

Navigating Marin

Beautiful remote location and great deck. My map indicated the road was on the north side of the highway. Wrong, Google Maps got me there.

Serene Getaway

It was a joy to stay at Elizabeth's and Robert's place. The spacious rental had windows with views of the beautiful natural setting, and the private phenomenal deck looked out at ridges of trees in every direction. The hot tub was a welcome respite, too! We hope to take back home and hold onto some of the regenerative and restorative feelings absorbed through our short stay. And we are frog enthusiasts... so happy to listen to their calls!

Surprise guests

The property location is beautiful and secluded. And, it was advertised as peaceful and quiet . However, we were surprised when young children arrived. They were noisy and did hinder us from using the hot tub/spa as much as we would have liked.

It’s rare, but occasionally during the day a child may visit us. On this Saturday, a friends disabled child visited and was delighted by the lizards, fire and stars. I was delighted to be able to enjoy our piece of heaven thru him. All are welcome here and after 9pm it’s always quiet.

Perfect Getaway from City Life

We were dying to get out of the city and Robert and Beth's home was the perfect spot to stay. The studio has a large patio with an amazing view of the treeline. I spent an hour every morning starting the day with yoga and coffee as the sun rose. It was truly magical. Our main goal was to spend as much time in nature as possible and there are so many great options for hikes nearby if you enjoy hiking but want a peaceful retreat at the end of the day with all the amenities lacking when you camp, come here! The road up the way is rough as stated in the directions, but go slow and you can avoid the worst of the pits.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing

Very quiet, peaceful, felt remote but was only an hour away from me. The private deck was wonderful, would have loved an umbrella on the deck to enjoy the outdoors but with some shade. Room was very comfortable, lots of space, and the view was incredible. I brought my dog, which I love they have that as an option. The listing said the pet fee was $30, but I was charged $45. I don’t mind the extra $15, but thought it was a bit tacky to charge me more than what was listed. Felt like they were nickel and dime-ing me a little. But, overall happy with my stay, would probably stay again.
