Loved the cabin! Not only was it super clean, but there were little laminated notes hung around the house to explain how various things worked (for example, the propane fireplace, the radio, etc.). We saw wildlife (mostly deer) from the deck everyday and even saw rainbows on 3 different days.

An absolute 10 out of 10Cozy, hidden away, and the views are incredible!!!Host was very responsive to messaging and cabin has everything you need!Definitely worth every penny!

Bear Haus is a beautiful cabin and property! Michael was super helpful before and throughout the entire stay. The fire pit area outside was a wonderful spot to end our evenings each night! Beds were very comfortable however the pillows were not. Overall we highly recommend this property!!

Peaceful retreat

Very nice cabin, an amazing home away from home. Plenty of room and lots of beautiful views! The host was really helpful and explained everything clearly.

Lovely log cabin

Tastefully decorated, comfortable home with a beautiful mountain view from the deck. It provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Our host was great.

Perfect stay for our family getaway!

Our first time staying in a log cabin in the mountains. It was wonderful! There is an abundance of amenities, the decor and accommodations are very welcoming, the views are amazing and atmosphere so peaceful, and Michael is a very attentive and considerate host! We loved our stay and hope to go back someday :)

Picture Perfect!

We wanted a cozy cabin in the mountains with mountain views, and we got exactly that and more! The cabin had everything we needed, and the host checked in to make sure things were going well or if we had questions. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to visit again!

Mountain Oasis

My husband and I stayed at Bailey Bear Haus with my mil & three kids (9,6,4). Cons: - The cabin is a bit out of the way. About 15 minutes outside of Bailey proper, and 20 minutes from the nearest Safeway/King Sooper's in Conifer. If you plan to stay at the cabin for the entirety of your trip, stock up on your food/essentials so you don't have to go back and forth into town. A Loaf & Jug gas station & Dollar General are about 10 mins. from the cabin. - The basement level has bunk beds, but it was uncomfortably cold. We expected our boys to sleep down there, but they ended up sleeping in the top floor loft (1 on the couch, and 2 on a pallet on the floor) outside of the master. With little kids, this wasn't much of an inconvenience, but it might be for older/bigger people. A space heater downstairs would make all the difference. - While not an issue for us, the 2 TVs are on the top level only. One in master, one in loft at top of stairs. Pros: - Very clean - Detailed and easy to follow instructions - Spacious for our crew of 6 - Loved the bluetooth speaker on main level - Outside gas fire pit was perfect for s'mores - Views off the balcony & upper level loft were great for drinking coffee in the mornings and relaxing in the evenings - Excellent communication with host, Michael. He even called me before our stay to give sightseeing & fishing ideas. - Easy peasy checkin/checkout. An overall wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend!

Hi Rebecca, Thank you for your feedback. We considered a space heater, but with the myriad of safety concerns, especially with children, decided against it. We've taken it into consideration and are installing a wall-mounted electric fireplace in the downstairs room to address that room being cooler. We typically close the upstairs vents to ensure that all the heat goes down there, since the cooler temps are typical in ground-level situations. We also have many extra blankets in each closet, and in the wardrobe in that downstairs room. I'm sorry your kiddos weren't comfortable and I would've been happy to address this concern had we known during your stay. In terms of the proximity to a larger grocery store, we always recommend the King Soopers in Conifer, and hope that you enjoyed the more secluded nature away from the hustle and bustle of Denver and the highway. We hope you enjoyed the fishing experiences and the trip. Thanks again for trusting us with your family vacation, and we hope to host you again! Cheers! -Michael

We absolutely loved our stay at Bailey Bear Haus! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The home is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully appointed, impeccably clean, and incredibly cozy—it truly felt like a home away from home!Michael was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. His communication was excellent, and he made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish.The location was perfect—close to all the conveniences we wanted while still offering the peace and beauty of nature. We especially enjoyed the nearby disc golf courses, scenic hiking trails, and our favorite local restaurant, Aspen Peak Cellars.We highly recommend Bailey Bear Haus and look forward to a return trip!
