Vintage Florida Beach Efficiency, 1 block to the beach!

Secluded private efficiency, just a short walk to the beach makes this a great beach getaway for a couple or a small family of 3. We have a queen bed and a non-pullout couch available (65 inch of sleeping length). On your way to the beach you can stop at the Kooky Coconut for lunch, an awesome milkshake or a variety of snacks. With a totally new renovation in 2024, this unit is updated, very clean and worry free. This cottage is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and a great place to relax. We also have laundry onsite, and a screened in porch for evening gatherings. Both are shared. Nice dogs allowed ($35 extra) add them on # of guests page, but backyard isn't completely fenced. There is a nice place to walk them a half block to the east. Newly installed ChargePoint Level 2 - 50 amp EV charger.

The host of this property was very easy to communicate with and responsive. I’m not sure how often he checks the property to see what is actually there. I asked prior to our arrival about bringing beach chairs. He said there were plenty there so we did not bring any. The ones that were there were not in good condition and there was little selection. I think this unit may be great for someone who only wanted a place to sleep and not to spend much time in. We knew when we rented it that it was small but were surprised at how small it actually was. It is comparable in size to a hotel room.

Lovely property! Very clean and easy walk to the beach. Bed was firm. Air conditioning was cold. I would stay at this location again

This is my second stay here and overall it was still good for what I needed. I noticed some issues though this time around that were not there the first time around. The AC is either dirty or worn out. It is dripping water. I noticed the floor was wet. Then I noticed there were two plastic measuring cups under the AC placed there to catch dripping water. They were full and just slowly overflowing. I would empty them on daily basis to keep the drips from overflowing. The toilet is not properly secured. One side is not actually bolted down to the ground. Everything else was good and normal as expected.

Yes, I’m sorry about that, and I did send the AC guy out to fix it, but I’m out of town in Ohio for my dad‘s birthday and a family reunion, so I couldn’t personally be there to take care of it immediately.

Easy stay, good location

I was in the area for some events and needed a place to stay. The unit was perfect for my needs. Clean, enough space, kitchenette area. 5 minute walk to the beach on my downtime.

Amazing! Too short of a stay!

We came to stay here in our honeymoon. We love Indian Rocks. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene has other plans. Our host was very communicative in keeping up updates on evacuation details. The place is so cute! Very cozy and comfortable. A 5 minute walk to the beach but very pleasant. We will absolutely be back!

We moved here from Ohio way back in 1998 to get away from the cold weather and gray skies. And we've been hosting vacation rentals since about 2002. Its fun and we get to meet so many nice people.

We wanted a beach neighborhood on one of the islands that was residential and not built up like Clearwater Beach. But close enough to get there on the trolley when we got the urge to go. We've owned and used this place since 1998 and love the location.

Our place was built in 1954 and still has that vintage Florida feel, but with all the updates we need today. We've left some of the original item to keep the memory alive.
