If it's river frontage you want - you've found it! You can literally drop a line in and fish while standing on the deck. The views up and down the river are tremendous and onsite you'll find tubes for a lazy afternoon float down the river.
This cozy two-bedroom cottage is perfect for 2-4 guests. There's a nice woodstove for chilly mornings and evenings, Internet (wireless) and Satellite TV.
Well located between Highlands and Franklin so a quick jaunt up or down the mountain is easy and direct.

Our stay at Cindy's Island was fantastic! Very clean and comfortable. Love the outdoor fire pit area and being right on the river! Highly recommend!

The house was lovely; right on the river. It had everything we needed and even included a welcome snack kit! It was very relaxing looking at and listening to the sounds of the river. The house is off a main road and is somewhat difficult to make the turn into the driveway as other cars were constantly tailgating. I had to put on my hazard lights to make sure they would slow down so I could make the turn. But, once I figured that out, I had no problems getting in and out of the driveway.

Perfect family getaway!

We had a wonderful stay — very clean, excellent location near town and central to get to other towns. We loved hanging out in the river and making s’mores in the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Anniversary at Cindy's Island

We had a great stay! Place was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Being right on the water was appealing to the eye and hearing the sound of the water going over the rocks brought peacefulness. We will stay here again. Also, Franklin is a great town! One of our now favorites!

Nice and Quiet

Decided at last minute to try and get away for the weekend, this was a nice and relaxing place and April was great to work with. Lots of scenic views in the area. Overall a great place to stay and a great weekend.

Unique, Cozy Riverfront Home

This cozy home had all you need to relax and enjoy. The location is ideal and the view of the river was amazing. The owner was responsive and nice during our stay. We would stay there again.

Amazing weekend

We really enjoyed our stay, it was exactly what we needed. The rental was clean and well kept, the attention to detail and amenities within the home made us feel very special. Its a beautiful place and we plan to return for a longer stay in the future.

Great Get Away

Relaxing and beautiful. A little hard to find, especially at night because the entrance is right outside a curve in the road but overall, we would go again!

Summer 2019, Vacation Franklin, NC

We had a great stay at Cindy's Island. So peaceful hearing the river flow right out the window, everything you need is there. So much beautiful scenery to enjoy within driving distance.
