A stay with us will provide a unique experience that is one of a kind to Alaska. Whether you’re booking for your entire family or by yourself, we offer a cozy environment, free WiFi, games for the kids and an amazing indoor 2400sq ft pool house with all the amenities you can imagine. When you rent the house you receive the poolhouse from 6pm-12a.m no matter what. If there are no partys you will have it the entire time!

We had a great stay and the kids loved the pool! Would be nice if the guest bedrooms had black out screens for those of us not used to the midnight sun (the master did have black out curtains), but the price was great for such a large property and the kids loved having a pool. Thanks for a great stay!!

The kitchen and bathrooms were dirty…food in the kitchen sink, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, hair in the shower drain, very slow draining bathroom sink. Very little hand soap in the dispensers, no body wash in the shower. There was a musty smell. Pool was nice.

We were unable to fully use the property to its potential as we only stayed one night and arrived late then left early the following morning. We felt the house could have been a bit cleaner and addressed this with the host which they intend to resolve. The pool house looked great but we didn’t have time to use. We all had a good sleep and got back on the road.

This house looked more like the outside has been abandoned. The deck is falling apart, there is a broken swing set on the deck, the play structure in the yard is unsafe, there are random vehicles and equipment rusting in the yard. Inside was not much better. The handrail to the upstairs was covered in a sticky substance and when we arrived one of the bedrooms had all the windows shut and an ozone machine running! It wasn’t even safe to be in that room for hours. Choose any other place.

The host are very friendly and prompt with any questions. The house was beyond my expectations and all the kids absolutely love the pool. Definitely recommend this stay

Satisfied overall. Listing doesn't make you aware that the pool is not always avaliable at all times. That parties are scheduled at the pool, which is in a separate building, during Vrbo stay.

I was very impressed with the communication & willingness to communicate. We found a last minute booking for my daughters 14th bday. I was happy to be in a quiet, clean and safe home with them and their friends. The owners were very accommodating & understanding. We have another stay booked for my next kiddos bday! My daughters had a blast in the pool, which was 4ft across so it took the stress off my shoulders. I enjoyed the tub I could fit my whole body in located in the master bathroom. All around a great experience for all of us and we can’t wait to go back :)

This home worked well for a large group with 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and bedding seemed clean. The rest of the home could use more attention to both maintenance and cleaning. The deck has weeds growing through it, half the railing panels are out and stacked on the deck, we had to remove (2) large wasp nests under the deck to keep grandkids and ourselves from getting stung. The lawn did not look like it had been mowed for weeks. The boiler leaked and we dumped the water twice a day, finally found some kitchen towels behind the dryer on the floor that we dug out with additional items. Sofa had tear and broken section. We had a running bet on how many times we would hit the sconce light at the base of the stairs with our heads- combined was around 15 times-lol. Kitchen was huge and had amenities that worked well. An amazing refrigerator/freezer which was full of condiments from past renters, but lacked simple staples like salt, or coffee pods. Found food under the strainer in the sink, and swimming trunks hanging in the shower. We loved the pool but found out Saturday that it is not exclusive to the VRBO renter and could not be used if they book it out to other parties. There was an outside birthday party with 8-9 cars in the backyard. Owner sent fine print and said it's "clear" that it is a "shared" pool and we were only guaranteed usage weekdays after 6:00 p.m. IT WAS NOT CLEAR TO ME. Overall potential, but needs better management and maintenance.

Excellent place!!

Beautiful home in a great location. Loved this home. Alot of amenities. The pool was awesome. The kids had so much fun swimming ands so did the adults. Excellent communication. Highly recommend this home. Would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation to Alaska

Great place to stay, my grandson loved the pool house, it was awesome, filled with all the pool needs you would ever want. House had everything we needed, also. Thanks for letting us stay at the last minute, due to cancellation of our flights and couldn't find any hotels. Alaska is a beautiful place to be.

The hosts were great and very quick in their response to anything we needed. Unfortunately the last few days we were without an oven to no fault of anyone. The igniter in the oven went out and the owner couldn’t get a replacement until after the holiday weekend. They did offer us to use the oven in the apartment they is attached to the house which was very nice of them. We ended up not needing it as they had an air fryer that worked out perfectly. The whole family loved the pool. We spent most evenings out at the pool. It was still a bit too cold to enjoy the very nice outside deck but we did have a moose wonder into the backyard one afternoon which the kids thought was super cool. I would say the biggest down fall for me was the water pressure in the shower. Once I got use to it, it wasn’t a problem. The large bathtub in the master bathroom was wonderful for a soak after our long days. Plus there is no lack of hot water. We would definitely stay again. Great hosts and with 8 of us there was plenty of room for everyone to have a comfortable place to sleep. The bunk room was perfect for the kids hangout. Especially with the beds all being full sized.

Family get together for a celebration of life, and estate sale. The place was perfect for our group, the pool was a nice to relax after our emotional days. The host were very responsive. I would recommend staying here

VFW auxiliary group

We were attending a veterans of foreign wars mid winter conference in wasilla and found this beautiful property which would accommodate our full group. Since we have done this in other locations we knew this was a much better value over a hotel. Love the feel of home and ability to connect will most our group in this environment. Woke up to a power outage our last day so couldn’t clean up for the host as much as we wanted. Hope to stay here again in the future

Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was stocked with the basics needed for prepping food at home, saving us money on eating out. The kids loved the pool and I loved the amazing soaking tub in the en suite bath! The yard appeared to be mid-project, but it didn’t detract from our stay. The owners were very responsive to any needs that arose and one Ives in the attached apartment, which was convenient when we ran out of trash bags. If you have a large group and need a place to stay a few nights in the area you can’t go wrong with this rental!

Great Local spot near Wasilla

This was only about an hour away from Anchorage. We swam in the little Lake in town and found some yummy food spots. The spul food truck and ice cream cone spot Little Miller Metro?, is walking distance away. Down the strwet is Taege and other stores you amy want to get supplies from. We also had fun shopping at a thrift store nearby. The owner was very responsove to requests-like providing fans for the warm rooms upstairs. We cpuldnt open those windows because there were no screens. We would offer a friendly suggestion of some black out curtains in all the sleeping rooms. It was hard for the kids to get enough rest becasue of the brightness. Otherwise, everything was pretty great. We would stay there again!
