Our stay at the lake house was awesome, what a nice quiet place to come back from all the adventures and relax and cook a nice meal. Will definitely be staying here again on the next adventure.

This was a great place; I would definitely consider renting it again. It was so beautiful to wake up to the lake view every day. We really enjoyed our time here. The host was a good communicator. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, pots, pans, spices, paper towels, detergent, and necessities. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor space. My family hauled in a bunch of large trout from the lake. Fun fact: this home is just a couple of doors down from Sarah Palin. FYI, the host does charge extra to use the kayaks, paddleboards, and canoe.

Amazing stay on lake Lucille

We loved our 16 day stay! Owner was very responsive and friendly, property was clean and exactly as advertised. Our kids loved swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. We’d love to stay again sometime!

What a wonderful place!

This home had everything we needed and more! Great kitchen to cook in, the four bedrooms were great and the view of Lake Lucille was stunning. The beds were so comfortable and master shower is awesome. We will definitely be back!!

Family Time

The house and property were just what we needed for extended family to stay at for the week. A family of ducklings hatched while we there. The fire pit was much enjoyed. It was an excellent location and provided all our needs. We would gladly stay there again.

Lake Louise house

The house was perfect for our stay in Alaska! We were celebrating our retirement with our children and grandchildren (total of 9 people). There was losts of room for everyone. The view was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed the stay there.

Lake Side

It was a great location; The host was very accessible and responsive. Beautiful home with plenty of parking. The kids ranged from 15 months to 11 and they had a wonderful time with the games on premise and fishing from the dock. It was a nice quiet location, and we would absolutely seek it out again for a larger group.

We loved this vacation house and it beautiful lake. The master bedroom & bathroom were very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of blankets for those chilly nights. Three smaller bedrooms and a full bath had comfy beds and spacious closets. The loft above the garage was a perfect hangout space for our 3 grandsons, with a half bath, mini fridge, and the ping pong table, which got a lot of use. The lake setting of the property was gorgeous. Many of us went on canoe rides, kayaked, and fished in Lake Lucille. We enjoyed the ducks and other beautiful birds, especially the soaring eagles that live in the area. The livingroom & dining spaces were perfect for our family. The kitchen was well appointed and provided everything we needed to cook family meals. The full sized W&D was a plus with a big family and kids who enjoyed the water. The property is just far enough on the edge of Wasilla to feel like a private lake setting and close enough to the town that had everything we needed. The Large Fred Meyer store and others on the main road made shopping easy and convenient. We visited the beautiful Catholic Church on Sunday, which was a plus. The owner Jed and his sweet Mother dropped in to meet us and to make sure everything was satisfactory. Jed rented us his canoe and kayaks for a reasonable price, which we definitely enjoyed. There's a nice hotel and restaurant next door, but a tall privacy fence kept us separated nicely. The neighbors are friendly and we truly felt at home.

The house overlooks a lake that is just beautiful. Has alot of ducks. The younger ones in the group did canoes and kayak on the lake. They had a lot fun.

Perfect for large family gathering

My family of 12 stayed at this property in May 2025 and it was absolutely perfect. Plenty of comfy beds for every one. My 3 year-old loved sleeping in the bunk bed. The house was beautiful and had absolutely everything we needed. The view was gorgeous. The fire pit was a hit in the evening. The boys fished off the dock. And the kids loved playing ping pong together!! So clean and easy to access and work with the owner! Thanks for the great stay!

Peaceful * Beautiful and Convenient. Great getaway with plenty of space for the entire family!

Beautiful setting- right on the lake, surrounded by mountains in the distance, beautiful sunrise and sunset. Fishing with my grandkids in the kayaks was a moment to remember. Fun for everyone! Foosball table, ping pong, cornhole, frisbee golf! There's plenty of space,and a convenient location The beds were comfortable, everything clean and ready when we arrived. The host is easy to communicate with and immediately responded to our needs. Would definitely rent again!gra gathering.

HS graduation

This home is FABULOUS! Jed was super accommodating and eager to help at a moment’s notice, not that there were any issues. He texted to make sure we had arrived and all was well. We are from the lower 48 and left relatively warm weather at home. It was a bit drizzly and cool in AK. So nice to walk into a warm, comfortable, welcoming home. Bright, beautiful and ready for our stay. Such a gorgeous location. The drizzle went away although still cool, so my grandsons built fires in the pit down by the lake and we roasted marshmallows while watching and listening to the ducks swimming and chatting amongst themselves. The resident gulls and muskrat visited on occasion too! The snowy mountains in the distance were an added treat. My only regret is we weren’t able to stay longer and enjoy a meal at the restaurant that is located within walking distance of the house. Everyone told us it’s probably the best place in town. That will be for next time. We now have a second reason to visit our son and family….. our own cozy, welcoming, home on Lake Lucille. Loved it.
