This one bedroom, one bath which is ideal for the single traveler or couple. It has a King Bed, and a full bathroom with a brand new walk-in shower. Full kitchen with all items you might need. There is also a washer and dryer for your use inside the unit. Free parking stall, hot tub, bbq and pool area for your use. There is also a special access to the shopping center behind the condo complex for a short cut to the grocery store and all the other amenities available there.

Free parking stall included, you can walk to most restaurants and shops on Alii drive without having to pay the parking fees.

Our experience here was wonderful. The condo was well stocked, clean and comfortable - we truly did not lack for anything we needed. There are enough fans and AC to cool down with as well after a hot day on the beach and we loved sitting on the patio in the morning with a coffee and listening to all the birds. Shops, restaurants and beach access are all within a 6-7min walking distance which was perfect for us to be able to wander out and about at our leisure. The units were quiet and calm at night. There is an abundance of good food within walking distance as well. Overall a really great experience staying with Erika! We would highly recommend her place.

Erika was extremely easy to work with and responded quickly to questions. We appreciated the bottles of cold water and the chocolates. The condo had everything we needed. We borrowed her ice chest, reusable shopping bags and camp chairs. The parking spot was very close and convenient. The location is great. We walked to a nearby restaurant and to the farmers market. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. We would book it again and will refer it to our friends and family headed to Kona.

We had an issue with a random car in the parking spot, and host was super responsive and provided an alternative solution in a timely manner. Best VRBO of our trip!

Erika’s place was clean, well stocked and very spacious.

We would absolutely stay here again. The location is close to downtown but far enough away for some peace and quiet.

Property was in a prime location for eating, shopping, visiting the ocean and pretty much anything else you could ask for. Communication was excellent and place was very nice. Will stay here again if we ever end up on the big island again.

The perfect location

The property was very close to down town Kailua Kona and we had many perfect evenings taking a walk down along Alii drive and enjoying the perfect sunsets. They were spectacular.

Convenient location and nice property

This is a property that feels homey the moment you step inside. Of all the places we have stayed at around the world, this was the most well stocked property making our stay even more convenient. The location is wonderfully close to shopping, groceries, and our daughter had a basketball game at the gym just minutes down the road. Erika is a great host! Enjoy you stay here!

Great spot in Kona

Great location walking distance to the main Kona beach front locations. Unit is comfortably furnished, clean and has nice amenities like towels for the beach / pool plus chairs so you don't have to rent your own. Owner is super easy to get in touch with if needed. 10/10 will stay again on my next visit.

I moved to the Big Island from Colorado 20 years ago after college. I have since married and had two daughters. I purchased my first condo in Kailua Bay Resort in 2004, and have been renting it as a vacation rental since 2006. My parents then purchased this condo in 2012, because they loved the location and want to spend more time here on the big island. So I rent it for them when they aren't using it. I love the big island, and Kona is the place to be. There are nice people, sun, sand and surf, it can't be beat!

Kailua Bay Resort is in the ideal location. It's quiet, yet at the same time it is centrally located so you don't need a car, all the activities are just steps away. If you want to go out and have cocktails, you don't have to worry about driving, just walk home. The pier and the beach are a short walk, as well as the grocery store and even the post office is right there.
