Great pan fishing off dock, nice location at center of lake. Had everything we needed.

Beautiful location, great cabin and porch over looking the water fur family dinners and playing games.

Rustic fishing cabin

Cabin slept 4 fishermen with ease. Amazing location on the lake, easy access to both sides of the flowage. Great panfishing right off cabin shore and space for 2 boats at dock.

Rustic Cabin

The cabin is rustic and has the classic charm, but dated. The WiFi and cell coverage was not strong, if you depend on it, like teenagers but was awesome for people that want to break away. I personally loved the area, location, and private setting. The owner was great and responsive.

Thank you for your review of our property. We are happy you enjoyed the area, location and private setting. The cabin has a lot of history being in the family now on its 3rd generation. We are planning on making updates in the next couple years but do not plan on taking the rustic charm out of the cabin.

Classic Northwoods Cabin/Home

It's a carefully maintained Northwoods Classic. Beautiful frontage with great swimming conditions off the pier (pier has a ladder). 5' deep with a sand bottom. 1/2 mile from the WDNR landing.

Expensive for no fire place too not work

Great place but couldn't use the fire place that wasnt worth it and there grill sucked not the greatest fishing

Charles- I wish you would have voiced your concerns to us directly about the grill and fireplace. You never said anything to me about these during your stay. We have not had any complaints before about our grill in the past.

Classic Cabin in Great Location and Rich History

We (family of 5) stayed a week in what will undoubtedly be the warmest week of the year. The cabin is great and you could sense that it has been a beloved destination for the family that has owned it for many decades. It is very comfortable and I'd love to visit in the fall. The kitchen is well-appointed such that you don't need to bring anything typically found in one. Gas grill worked fine and there were 2 tanks, so no worries. Beds were comfortable. Tap water was hot and tasted fine. The bathroom has been remodeled. We brought our own Roku Stick, but expect the TV services were on-point. The wifi was fast and reached down to the shore. There are a pair of window AC units that did the job. The owners left supplies for s'mores which was a nice touch. I unhesitantly would recommend this cabin. The decor is great, the view in the back is great, the back porch is wonderful. This isn't a complaint, but please be aware there is no clothes washer or dryer. There also isn't any real accomodation for fish cleaning so you can either use the fish cleaning station to the west of The Landing or piece something together in the yard. A pair of sawhorses and an old countertop would be helpful for future guests.
