This spacious four-bedroom home is the perfect Maine getaway, ideally located just before the iconic Nubble Lighthouse. As you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by a large backyard—perfect for family games, cookouts, and gathering together after a day of exploring. Just across the street, enjoy peek-a-boo views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Inside, 180 Nubble Road offers a warm and inviting coastal feel. Knotty pine walls and hardwood flooring create that classic Maine ambiance, making it easy to settle in and relax. Open the windows, listen to the waves crashing against the rocks, and let the fresh, salt-air breeze fill the home.

One of the standout features is the second-floor vista room. With large windows on three sides and an abundance of natural light, this space is ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach—whether you're reading, relaxing, or simply taking in the view.

A Great Birthday Getaway

We loved this little house: the older part downstairs and the "great room" up. We did not have the best weather so the house was used more than expected and extremely comfortable. Thank you Erin for keeping us in the loop on everything.

Awesome location

It was cool to play games upstairs in the living room at night with the Nubble Light house beacon in view. Opening the windows up here allowed us to hear the ocean waves pounding the rocky cliffs. This house is also close to the beaches. The kitchen was well stocked and efficient. The garage had beach accessories to use. It was a great stay for our family. Although the ice cream shop was a little too close!

Lasting family memories

My family wanted to surprise our Mom with a special birthday gift, a trip to York. We realized this has been a family tradition for close to 50 years, and this trip made lasting memories.If you have any one using a cane etc, this was a bit of a challenge for Mom. But the efforts were well worth it.Great location is an understatement.

Family Space with Wonderful View

The huge family room, 180-degree views of the rocky Atlantic Coast, and proximity to beaches, quaint downtown, and walkways really worked for us. We appreciated the multiple bathrooms, bedrooms, grassy yard, extra parking, and family areas. The realtor will not respond through the VRBO message system. The cleaning service locked us out -- worrisome at first -- but the realtor responded when we called her cell directly.

Freedom!

The location is perfect distance from Long Sands. I drop the family at the beach. I drive back, leave the car, and have a peaceful walk with stunning views back to the beach. I pass by other walkers, all very happy, good vibes! The age range of our group is 18-76. We all have our own space and a lot of it. Music upstairs. Movies downstairs. Corn hole on the big side yard, the elders watching from the picnic bench with the dog. 3 bathrooms! 2 refrigerators! Grill in the garage. It honestly is just perfect for us!

A little disappointing

Cleanliness is the biggest thing.We walked in to no beds made.We found sheets ,however when we unfolded them there’s was a clump of hair.Filthy comforter Serious odor in the upstairs bathroom.Glasses dirtyLawn 6” to a foot long in places.So, no fire pit lawn chairs etc.The spot is absolutely stunning More work on the house and hire a professional cleaning teamThank you

Hello Liss, Thank you for your feedback. with this property they do not make the beds but leave out the linens for tenants to make the beds. I will fallow up with the cleaner about the hair and the comforter. As far as the grass I will bring that up to the owner. In the property details on the listing it does not mention that the home offers a fire pit or outdoor seating. So I am sorry that you had the impression there was those to offer. As mentioned I have brought up the other issues to the homeowner and cleaner and will make sure those are fixed for future reservations.
