Cabin with a view 3 king Bedrooms + Loft pool table 3 full Baths (Sleeps 6-10) The cabin has a whole house generator which comes on automatically during a power failure. A Generac whole house generator makes your stay comfortable. Come for the spectacular view! It can be enjoyed from the hot tub dining room or covered porch. only 4 steps from the parking area into the deluxe log cabin in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.

The first floor has 2 king bedrooms 2 baths - one on-suite full sized washer and dryer in separate laundry room off the hall bath 2 leather couches in great room (one with queen hide-a-bed) 2 seat recliner couch gas fireplace with a timer and LCD flat screen TV w/HD dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The loft above has a pool table arcade game system and futon with linens. The third enclosed king bedroom with TV and DVD player and third bath complete the second floor.

You will find both Keurig and Mr. Coffee style coffee pots some k-cup pods in different flavors creamer pods sugar and sweetener packets also some snacks to start your stay. There is a basket of beach towels for the hot tub hand pump soap at each sink small soap packages paper towels. 2 new toilet paper in each bathroom dish soap and dishwasher pods.

Relax on the long front porch which has a porch swing and rockers for a relaxing visit in the quiet and peace of this woodland log cabin. A long gentle drive up brings you to the ridge with a great view! The log cabin sets on a fairly level area with easy parking for up to 3 cars.

The cabin is only 15 minutes from light #3 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 8 minutes more from there to Dollywood. You will have 4-lane highway to the Pigeon Forge city limits then about 2.5 miles of good county roads to SHAGBARK with paved roads all the way.

The Shagbark Community has a 24/7 manned security gate with a texting system to keep guests aware of safety and helpful community information. You will find 2 common areas available to you at no cost. The meadow pavilion area by the creek has walking trail dog park playground Frisby golf tether ball pavilion with picnic tables and a small putting green. Further along N. Clear Fork past the Community Center is the Shagbark swimming pool and large court with tennis pickle ball corn hole and basketball with equipment provided.

We are constantly working on the cabin. New recliner sofas recently. New dishwasher and revamped kitchen layout this last winter. Make your suggestions.

Cabin was very clean, host was pleasant, view was breathtaking. There were some minor problems but they were addressed quickly. We got a chance to arrive a few days early and our host gave us a discount on the additional days. Loved the area and we got to see bears! One actually came up on the porch! Hope to stay here again in future.

Everyone wants to see a bear until they get close. We are fortunate that black bears are not aggressive. Glad to be able to accommodate you early.

Very serene setting! Convenient location to access both Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all that Pigeon Forge has to offer without being too far from either. The community pool and recreation areas are a great bonus. Would definitely rent this cabin again!

Great location. We saw 2 bears during our stay! Large rooms and plenty of space for large families. Would stay again. This place had great views as well.

Shagbark is a bear sanctuary. Mothers and their cubs are often seen during the summer. Watch from a distance and do not try to feed. A beautiful View looks over a valley toward Maryville. New couches with electric recliner sides for your enjoyment.

cabin location, general condition, and ample space for 6 adults very good the negatives were present of insects, condition of sofa, and the need for total indoor cleaning. We rated a plus over previous rentals

We have had pest control in weekly and remodeled the kitchen plus deep clean. It is hard to get into the cabin with back-to-back stays. We moved some guests to address these issues.

We had privacy, loved sitting in the swing, momma bear and 2 cubs came by, the roaches was our main negative.

We closed down the cabin for several weeks - moving guests so we could have pest control inside each week as we remodeled the kitchen. New dishwasher is now close to the sink and getting a deep clean.

Valentine get away

We had a very nice time. Cabin is great for a small group. Can be a little hard to find, it shares a driveway with another cabin. We would definitely book again

Cute cabin

We have stayed in this cabin before and it was just as cozy and cute as the first time. It is close to the attractions but far enough to feel like you are away from it all. The owner is very responsive and very nice. Would Definitely stay again.

We love the privacy of SHAGBARK - this 1300 acre community with only 245 cabins scattered throughout is close to Pigeon Forge BUT we have the peace of Townsend on the busy side of the Smoky Mountains. We lived in Shagbark for several years before moving across the county to share a 3 acre lot with our daughter and her family. We are very excited to offer 'A Beautiful View' for your vacation enjoyment!
