Nestled in a peaceful, wooded valley on scenic Grandview Road just a mile from the West Bay of Traverse City, this multi-generational home is our offer to your family and friends.

Three bedrooms with brand new beds, fully equipped kitchen with induction stove, a living room that's spacious and comfortable, and a dining/family room that, like the living room, looks out through picture windows on a serene view. It also features spacious yards and a back patio for private outdoor dining.

The house is close to many attractions in the Traverse City area including a slew of wineries, breweries, fine or casual dining and a wide variety of local shops. It's the gateway to Leelanau County including the Sleeping Bear Dunes, as well as many miles of beaches and parks on Lake Michigan. We're also a short distance from the TART recreational trail

The host is nearby and available upon request. We've lived here all our lives: we can guide you to the right beach, recommend the best dining options, and more.

Overall a great stay. House was definitely older, but you can’t beat the location. Plus Tim was a great host and very accommodating.

Great location and so comfortable. We were welcomed with a plate of fresh picked morels and couldn’t have enjoyed our northern Michigan stay more.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend for a wedding. While we were not at the property enough to use most amenities, the cabin was full of everything you could need, even some basic groceries and a few drinks were stocked in the fridge. We really enjoyed the time we could spend at the cabin, it’s very home-y and cozy compared to a lot of the previous rentals we’ve stayed at. I especially loved exploring all the books and knick knacks on the shelves. Beds were comfortable, getting in was easy, everything was in working order, and the home was clean. I would stay here again for any future trips!

The property had a nice space for walking the dog. It has a cool fire pit and nice shaded deck. Good parking spaces. The house triggered memories and stories of our youth. All the comforts of home in the kitchen, laundry and a second bathroom. Quiet but very close to town for shopping and restaurants. Host was available but we didn’t need anything. He was kind enough to let me know I left something behind and arranged for family to pick it up. Great stay!!

The home has a cottage vibe, very clean and has a ton of charm. The outdoor property is fantastic. The host was very responsive and friendly. We will definitely stay again.

Great Stay close to town

Great location close to down town but still secluded. We enjoyed the horse shoes in the yard and the fire pit area. Plenty of space inside for our family of 5 to rest and relax!

Perfect Up North Retreat

Great location. Close to everything but not in the busiest parts which I appreciate as I’m looking to get away from that when I head up north. Quiet and wooded. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for a weekend while we attended a wedding. Super close to downtown and the venue. But far enough from everything to enjoy the quiet of up north.

This property is called grandmas house and it does not disappoint. Everything is cute and vintage but super comfortable. Great spaces for hanging out and enough beds to have a group. Back yard was perfect for the pups and location is close enough to town to be convenient! Would recommend to anyone

Great house, very cozy for our family of five plus dog. House has everything we needed to cook our own meals and is not far from town. Tons of books, puzzles, and other games for around there. Close enough to town to easily do things, but far enough to be quiet. Tim was a great host. Very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. Would stay again!

This land has been in my family for generations. It is safe and a short drive to downtown, the tart trail, and all the beauty of Leelanau county and the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.

This was my childhood home. It has been cared for by multiple generations of my family. We’re truly in the country 15 acres of hills all woods and meadows. Wildlife in the backyard yet just 4.6 miles to downtown. Fire pit, lawn games badminton court, space to roam. We are excited to share it with you.
