Great place to stay close to campus. Host is easy to reach. We’ve stayed here twice so far and will be back again!

Well appointed home with comfy beds. Close to Campus and a great option instead of a hotel. Easy checkout and communication with host. We would for sure stay here again.

A friend and I were in town for a golf tournament and stayed here. This is an older house that has been updated. It was very clean in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the AC is great. Overall, we had a great stay and would look to stay here again in the future.

Great location!!! Convenient to everything. 8 min drive to campus. The host was wonderful with communication and checked in before, during and after. Would definitely stay again when in Tuscaloosa. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of space. Well stocked kitchen.

Quiet street, neat and tidy, nice carport/ patio, comfy beds, big eat in kitchen, very responsive manager. Would definitely stay again. Super location.

Great stay

Awesome is all I can say. Host fantastic communication, house wonderfully clean and just as described. Close to University and restaurants. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

The host communicated extremely well. Check in and out were a breeze. The house was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. My wife actually commented on her bed being really comfortable...something she won't do lightly. Nice little area out back for the dog to smell around. Quiet neighborhood to walk him as well. Close to any amenity you could think of. Being that my son just moved to the area we will be back for sure.

The home was on a quiet, well kept street. The house was clean. Had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with whatever you needed, including spices & condiments. Easy parking. Very close to shopping. About 15 minute drive to Univ of Alabama. Close enough to campus to watch our son play in a school tennis tournament, yet nice that we didn’t have to worry about noise & parties.

The host responded quickly to inquiries, and the check-in and departure were perfectly efficient. One can park two cars in the carport. The location is excellent for anyone, seeking easy access to downtown Tuscaloosa or Northport or to the University of Alabama. (We walked regularly to downtown Northport and (in the other direction) to a small public park with playground & walking path.) This VRBO has a lovely living room & three spacious bedrooms w/clean linens and comfortable beds. Each bedroom has direct access to one of two clean, nicely-appointed bathrooms with plenty of towels. As noted in the VRBO description, there is a fenced yard behind the house but no direct access from the house itself. (The fence served our dog well, but a small dog could squeeze under the fence.) Over seven days, we used the kitchen for preparing most of our meals. The only reason that we offer 4 stars instead of 5 is that the kitchen was infested w/mice & roaches. That said, the host responded immediately when contacted about this problem and dispatched an exterminator the next morning. We would not hesitate to stay again at Comfort Cottage with assurance that the kitchen would be as clean as the rest of the home.
