In 2023, we purchased a cozy cottage in Vermilion, OH just 3 min away from the Lake Erie shoreline and bustling downtown. Our goal is to take what we've come to love about staying in VRBOs and pair that with what we love about this charming lakefront town to create a 5-star experience for our guests. The closest water access is the Vermilion Boat Launch (3 mins away by car) and the nearest beach is Main Street Beach (5 mins away by car). There's also a plethora of other water access points and beaches within a 10-minute radius of the cottage.
Within a walkable, half-mile of the house, you'll find the Vermilion Community Pool (seasonal, outdoor), the Vermilion YMCA, the Vermilion Skate Park, the Vermilion Elementary School playground, and more.
Favorite restaurants in the area include The Pavilion Grille, the Woodstock, Brewed Awakening, and Granny Joe's Ice Creamatorium -- all of which are approximately 1 mile from the cottage.
There is a Giant Eagle grocery store 1.9 miles away and a Rite Aid pharmacy 1.5 miles away.
